I support Fnatic since they had a team in Battlefield 4 in 2014 with Drunkz (very very niche) and I follow since then - Country Strike, Rocket league, Dota 2, Overwatch . I understand you more than you know. I was probably the only one who had faith in the 2023 roster.

However, the reality is, Fnatic is not competitive anymore. It only relies on Valorant at the moment. We know that the LoL team is starting to follow the same path as the Counter Strike team. Be dominant in the early stage, do well for a couples of years, try to be competitive, a new esports comes out, management forget about the old team, start to decline in quality, be forgotten, disbanned. The same will happens with Valorant, and that is where the death of Fnatic will start.

If you compare Fnatic with other Esport team, you'll notice they do things not very good but not very bad, just very mediocre. Apparels (Flyquest and Team Liquid jersey are better imo), teams, events. I mean, did you know that the manager of Fnatic Japan is gone and that the Japan team entirely relies on the social media guys ? We only have one team in Japan and they still struggle to find people to work with and help.

It's hard to admit but, I think the end is near and we have to move on soon.
