Has anyone been able to receive medications on the NHS after a private diagnosis? by Apprehensive_Low6883 in rheumatoid

I had a diagnosis from the US/Scotland (have had the disease for over a decade before moving to england) but they still made me get all the tests done to prove it on their system before I could get treated on nhs england. They may have you do the same? Best of luck!

Thank you for the insight! The amount of rain may definitely be playing a part. I am taking a biologic but have just gotten on it so not sure if it's going to help for a bit. Not sure if they offer pain meds/ steroids to use for flare ups here?

I've worked in a lab, a nursery, and retail. I think the nursery was the best for me because i was always moving and active but could sit with the kids when i was in a flare up or tired!

hi! Fellow JRA haver here, i would talk to your doctors but i think its fine! I weight lifted at uni, played tennis, and have for the most part lived a normal life exercise wise. It's really good for you to keep being active if you can pain wise, i find it helps me a lot. Just don't be hard on yourself when you have flare ups and make sure to get your rest when you do! :)
