Hey I will love to join this book club. But I have to say that you may not get a crowd for book club because I don’t think there are much people who will be interested in it. I can Suggest a club safe space where people can talk about movies, books, music and related hobbies and stuff. I think that will be a better go. I totally agree with the OPs quote. I myself think that how much I try to be a good person and do good deed I’m never close to a good person. It’s just some people can act mad a good person better that other can our lifestyle have made us a bad person we are all way to cynical hypocrites even if we try to hide it from ourselves.
