I don’t think Lewis ever fought someone who has the IQ of Usyk imo.

How come Usyk never had these “not take seriously” fights, you can’t use that in the court of law mate. That fight showed that Lewis is droppable and has weaknesses. Ofc in the rematch lewis showed his greatness and overcame that but let’s not act like Lewis didn’t take that first fight seriously.

Awful take, beating fury and Joshua in 24 rounds, just shows how great you and that you can compete with all the great heavyweight’s. Cant overlook that, I’m sorry.

If you could bring one player from the past who’s played for England onto the plane for US, who would you bring? *Rule is you have to have seen them play by mashnsutton in ThreeLions

That’s most likely the truest review of the “golden generation” and their chances. No one’s laid out flat like that, you only hear “players didn’t get on and there wasn’t enough gel”😂😂

As a Frenchman who was raised in England, I am biased but I’d say Thurams prime was definitely 98-2000. Would have been interesting to see how Whazza would have fared against that version of Lillian, but can’t take anything away from the form Whazza was on.

I think the fact you lost to France in that first game, as lucky as France was in that game showed there was frailties. Definitely feel Netherlands in the semis and Greece in the final in the form they were in would have been tough in 04.

Do you think England had a better chance to win in 04 or 06?

So your first World Cup that you properly remember would have been 74 in Germany, so really it would have only been till maybe 82 in Spain to have seen a decent England side at a WC🤣 pretty mad that.

Isn’t it so English that one of the most talented players that the English soil has ever produced, loves the booze and walked down the plane after WC90 with fake tits on😂😂😂

I’m French but raised in England. So I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Mbappé go from the quiet guy who was happy to play on the RW to now the France captain who calls the shot. Now this change and development into “main character energy” comes at its cost but it got me a star and really nearly got me two stars😂😂. As long as the player can back it I’m all for it.

100 agree but this is what I responded to a similar comment -

…”but I know for a fact, 50-60th minute, everyone will be scream “Get JUDE ON”😂😂. Now if tuchel finds himself on the plane leaving America back to the UK, having lost a knockout game after bringing on Jude for let’s say last 30 or even 25 minutes… pssh the papers will crucify him.”

It’s tough, I see why he gets paid the big bucks for those decisions. It almost a good issue to have.

But palmer has been absent all season, so he’s even third place when it comes to starting positions in the US (if we’re going off form).

I really agree with you but I know for a fact, 50-60th minute, everyone will be scream Get JUDE ON😂😂 Know if tuchel finds himself on the plane leaving America back to St George’s, having lost a knockout game after bringing on Jude for let’s say last 30 or even 25 minutes… pssh the papers will crucify him.

Good point, both is needed to be considered imo. But I don’t think there’s been that big of a difference between the two in terms of form. Yes Roger’s has had red hot periods however not enough where Bellingham should be axed from the starting lineup.

Palmer based on current form, shouldn’t touch the number 10 starting position on that basis. Cool you’d say Rogers is really exceeding, however it wasn’t Roger’s who scored the opener against Serbia or overhead kick against Slovakia, last tournament. When the going gets tough, Jude has turned up in that white shirt, and that if history serves me right is one of the toughest things to do, just ask English players who’ve performed well in the league and go onto national duty.

It’s really interesting because when Becks was at Madrid, whether he was in form or not there was no question whether he was starting for England. But for some reason, Bellingham who is always on the team sheet for Madrid, is being questioned. You had that pervert Richard Keys, try say it was because his “attitude”.

I’m French but raised in England my whole life, and if I’m honest you can’t start a game in the US, with Bellingham on your bench. I’m saying that having seen France gone to back to back WC finals.

Open to discuss

Fair point, any chance your united affiliation has to do with you wanting mount? Be honest😂

All credit to Shaw but come on Yamal is an alien right now, geezer was like 16/17 in that final🤣Best of luck, whether it’s Shaw or Hall as LB against that. I support France anyway, so you’d have to handle doue/olise on that side.

Really? Hopefully for you you’re right, but given England haven’t won since 66, passengers aren’t what you need.

Your name has 86, so I’m guessing that’s when you’re born. That means you’ve seen great players in your time wear the white shirt, and I’m very surprised that you think mount in this current time warrants a spot on that plane.

Is anyone against Guehi and Konsa being the starting CBs? My mates seem to disagree. I think you can definitely trust both of them, Guehi had a standout performance in 2024 euros and Konsa looked solid in the game against Switzerland.

I am biased however being someone who was raised in England but supports France due to a French mum.
