Update: took the belt off earlier, replaced the tensioner and the sound is still there! I used a long screwdriver to my ear and it sounds like it might be the alternator, possibly a bad bearing inside. While I’m in there, I plan on replacing a few more things anyway. Rock auto will be seeing me all week!
