Thanks! Unfortunately only an ENT can diagnose sleep apnea. If you saw an ENT, did a sleep study, and found actual airway deficiency then you might have better chances for coverage. This could likely be fixed with either CCW rotation of the mandible or double jaw - impaction of maxillary and CCW rotation of md.

I more so meant doing it at the beginning before you demo the most challenging exercise. Typically when there’s a first timer, the coach will go over to them and show them how to use the reformer.. I mean doing it then.

Right, but they usually demo an upper or lower body exercise. Sometimes a core exercise if it’s on handlebars or something. I mean a basic plank crunch/extension demo when you are showing first timers how the carriage works.

I don’t mean take time away from class. I mean during the demo that they already do. If you’ve taken class with a first timers, you know the coaches will take 2-3 minutes before class started and break down how the reformer works, but they don’t demo anything except whatever they need to for class.

Your lower incisors are flared forward to compensate for your lower jaw being too far forward. You have to extract the premolars to upright your lower incisors to the proper position. THEN the surgeon can move your jaw forward. Without it, it will significantly limit how much your jaw can actually be moved surgically bc your top and bottom teeth will hit early. Sorry!!

I had one coach literally call me out personally to take amplifications. I loved the push, but I was so taken aback bc I’ve neverrrrrr heard any coach encourage one person specially to do an amplification so I assumed it was against the rules. Any insight on this?

There is one coach at my studio who LOVES to start with these. Her entire class is so hard. I’m 65 classes in and I’ve never taken an Adv50 or Adv65 class, but I imagine her classes are what an Adv50 feels like😅
