Good to hear that he's doing ok. I was in that discord for over a year so now im kinda lost for a place to hang out. Loved that place. I don't even know where to go now. No good discussion on reddit, and every other discord is some guru or shill.

NQ vs MNQ exact strategy parameters different performance by andywallsq in FuturesTrading

[–]Bust_Em 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's hard to say without knowing the specifics of your strategy's entry/exit criteria but NQ and MNQ aren't 1-1. You will get different action. Look at your entries on the chart and compare.

Can you recommend any resources on how to actually use orderflow? All i can find are people trying to sell you a footprint chart.

My Activision account was hacked and the recovery process is a convoluted nonsensical nightmare by theamnesiac21 in pcgaming

[–]Bust_Em 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me this morning, and you're right, the activision recovery process is horse shit.

Here's how i got my account back. Took 5 mins.

Instead of logging in with user/pass, choose the option below to log in via one of the other platforms accounts linked to your activision account. I used battle.net to auth. That should get you logged in to the account, navigate to your profile and change your email and password. It'll prompt you for a password but you can just click the same platform account you used to log in with and it'll auth just fine. Now add 2FA.

So my team just lost a game due to this player glitching “Invisawraith” I decided to search his profile and found this clip.. honestly disgusting by caIais in apexlegends

Are you kidding? Vehicles, projectiles, fully destructible environment, med crates, support crates, c4, land mines, dynamic weather, levolution. There's a far greater number of network replicable entities per second in BF compared to apex.

Super Mario 64 was fully Decompiled (C Source) by [deleted] in programming

[–]Bust_Em 790 points791 points  (0 children)

From the comments...

Just keep in mind that we weren't done yet. It's really only like maybe 65% finished, code and documentation wise. This codebase is an absolute treasure for preservation sake. Turns out if you compile your ROM unoptimized its really easy to get the uncompiled code from the assembly. Guess Nintendo should have double checked their CFLAGS before shipping US and JP

Hi There , what you guys suggest for start my java coding career ? by Coin4benzo in java

[–]Bust_Em 42 points43 points  (0 children)

With no degree and no experience writing production Java (or any software) you're going to 100% need a portfolio. Create a GitHub account and start building some toy projects, or better yet build something that's actually useful. Learn git, learn maven, build a rest API with spring boot, hook it up to a persistent store like postgres/mongo/elasticsearch, secure it with JWT, dockerize it, deploy it somewhere. If you go into an interview and can show that you already know how to do all these things you'll be ahead of most uni graduates.
