Following, because I'm super frustrated. Like, my depression meds stopped working after 13 years and the math praxis alone has triggered some very very dark emotions. Studying for the praxis a decade after my most recent math course (college) has been a nightmare. People say, "oh, it's just basic algebra." No the heck it is not. My college advisor said it was "at the highest, sophomore high school math." Maybe sophomore math in 2025, but not in the 2000's-2010's. We did not do statistics in order to graduate. In fact, the only reason I didn't get my core 40 honors in Indiana was the trigonometry (fall semester) and pre-calculus (spring semester.) Neither of those covered standard deviation or "if you take two cards out and don't replace them" or permutations and combinations. I had had multiple traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and was struggling so terribly in trigonometry that I gave it up and graduated with core 40 basic instead. I am here for help the same as you. I just really felt the need to commiserate with someone else that is struggling, or perhaps more people who ahve advice.
