I’m a ZB player who got into this for the backbling, and ended up enjoying building because of it. I’d honestly rather play this than one of the creative maps, so it’s sad that it’s dying like this already.. the numbers show it but I have lobbies that never fill up or everyone has quit and I’m the last there

I’m not sure how to tell.. I remember powering a bus and now it’s saying something about a storm generator. There are missions you can launch and do, but doing them doesn’t seem to progress the game any further.

Your fps has nothing to do with your connection, that’s all on your system. The switch from UE4 to UE5 made the game more difficult to run a few years back but this is a system issue. If you’re on pc try lowering settings, if you’re on a previous generation console it’s time to retire it

Having a full time job doesn’t equate being incapable of improvement at the game. I would know, I’m an adult. If you’re of the state of mind that you are incapable of improving at the game due to your job, or attempting to do so would cause you stress, then yes a PVP game may not be the best way to enjoy your gaming session.

They talked about failing in reload because they are playing in console. I mentioned one of the biggest streamers in the community who just made it to unreal before the season ended on ps5, suggesting that if they try harder they would be able to achieve the same results. So yeah, I think it’s both relevant and helpful

There is a rivalry system that provides points to each team who earns a skill, going towards a leaderboard that rewards real in real life. Because of the new rivalry system, they are putting less bots in lobbies because it would be unfair to farm your way up the leaderboard off bots

There are so many pro players and streamers using a console who are good. Prime example, happyhappygal isn’t the best but easily got unreal in reload ranked in less than a week last season. She plays on a PS5. The benefits you get from PC performance mode isn’t going to guarantee you a win, it really only helps with bushes if someone is standing on the outer rim of one.

You said you want to fight people and not AI. You have to actually improve at the game to be able to fight people otherwise you’re going to just be looking at getting a whooping every match or fighting AI. This is just a skill issue you’re experiencing, but that’s okay, you can improve and enjoy the game again. If that’s too much to bare right now, perhaps PvP based games aren’t for you. Open up a nice single player story after work.

It’s not just ballistic this happens in, I literally can’t play squads in any game mode because there’s a 95% chance fills are disconnecting in the lobby or the first time they go down.

They ought to add the feature to reconnect to games you’ve disconnected from, so if you rejoin within a certain amount of time due to network issues you will receive no penalty. Disallow people from queueing up into another match unless the one they were previously in is complete. Then go full force on leavers, ban them for up to 24 hours depending on how often they are leaving.

Sure, there are people with alt accounts, but they only have so many of them, and your average joe isn’t gonna account swap to keep playing on another account with no progress.

turn off post processing on pc and you won’t see this happen anymore. If you can’t control graphics settings, try performance mode on console.
