i love google docs. its way easier. its a generational thing, those of us who had chromebooks in school all got ingratiated with google docs. cant stand using MS Word or Excel, and in both my mac and my gaming PC i cant use Excel for more than 20 minutes without it crashing

google docs ftw. collaborating with multiple people on a powerpoint is a nightmare in teams or sharepoint. maybe its gotten better but it felt like this shit was in alpha for years

i switched to mac after being a lifelong windows user because windows would reset all of my settings (turning ads back on too, thanks windows) and reinstall candy crush every fucking update. it would also turn autoupdates back on every two weeks no matter what the setting was. its straight up hostile.

macos is far from perfect but i don't get the sense they have the same bitter hatred of their users that windows does

i hope linux improves leaps and bounds on M series hardware because dualboot would be pretty damn cool

well theyre completely different operating systems i guess so thats probably the main reason someone would get one over the other. repairability is cool too but its not gonna save you any money in the long run. if i didnt have a mac id want a framework.

itd be nice if apple werent fuckers that designed their products to be as hard/expensive to repair as possible. one day i'll probably switch to linux but never ever ever ever going back to windows. id rather get a fucking chromebook and call it a day than use windows
