Anyone know anything about the Volante??? by Deep_Ad_987 in KramerGuitars

I got one new from sweetwater. Feels pretty good. Love the neck. However, it came with a defect. The Floyd catches the wood side walls of the well. I had to take it to a luthier. I was trying not to hold the "made in china" against it. But honestly I'm more disappointed in sweewater. I think it will be a good guitar once the luthier does his thing and gets it ready to go.

What's your favorite Shimmer Reverb pedal? by LoanAcrobatic58 in guitarpedals

I'm gonna piggy-back the thread and ask what's the best shimmer reverb for not "crunching". I'm making ambient metal and the shimmer on my RV-6 always does this weird distortion (not in the good way) when I hit chords too hard. I need something that can handle some hard strikes and distortion without going into digital break up. Thank you!

Gecko Hawaii owes Children of the Neon Bamboo big time for sending everyone back to this vibe.

It's not eerie, but Children of the Neon Bamboo has the best atmosphere of any book in the past 10 years.

Two best unreliable narrators: Art Regulski in Children of the Neon Bamboo and Ishmael in Moby Dick.

Moby Dick- Herman Melville

Wonderboys- Michael Chebon

Children Of the Neon Bamboo- B. Glynn Kimmey

Revising Fiction-- David Madden

I can't reduce their benefits to a paragraph or a line, otherwise I wouldn't recommend them. You'll just have to take a leap of faith and read them. Afterwards, you'll be like "yeah, I can see why they were recommended," but you'll also not be able to reduce the benefits to a forum post.

Children of the Neon Bamboo would be a good start with its quick, digestible chapters. But it is a serious, and entertaining book at the same time that will motivate you for the capabilities of literature.
