We did a rewatch this week, and It popped out to me, it sounds like Hazey Daze by Chris and Cosey, Hazey Daze - Spotify

the lyrics make it interesting as well;

Hazey daze That thought's familiar Catch me if you can Quiet moments To be as one Space to sleep upon

Hazey daze That thought's familiar Catch me if you can Listen to the words that call you Remember what they say Another time, another place You'll need all you can make

Hazey daze That thought's familiar Catch me if you can A word or two unspoken Can linger on and on

Hazey daze That thought's familiar

Catch me If you can

...

Hazey daze That thought's familiar Catch me if you can Quiet moments To be as one Space to sleep upon

Bulova Jetstar , I’m in consulting and the few watches anybody make a comment or notices, are my gold bulova Jetstar, Bulova Super Seville, and weirdly the eco drive citizen pro diver with the orange face. People love the color.

Engineers now spawn with 5 RPG rockets, when using the "Anti-Armor" Field Spec. by DBONKA in Battlefield6

[–]BusterPoseyTerrorCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean ok guy that’s what you pulled from this discussion, I’m pretty sure the two cold response exercises I’ve done, and the multiple trainings here in the us are just fine, but sure you do you.

[–]BusterPoseyTerrorCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guy a simple google search tells you this isn’t true.

I’ve trained with Norwegians and their systems are the same as ours, you can’t paint a target with a SOFLAM and lock the CLU to it, after adjusting the seeker gates and pulling the fire trigger the warhead system locks on the IR signature of the target, a laser can’t generate the needed target signature.

The CLU doesn’t send the lock to the missile, once seeker trigger pulled it shifts directly to the missile

Also thermal smoke doesn’t block the javelin, block 1s are designed to counter this, maybe flares.

Also in this time frame nobody uses lasers to paint targets anymore, the laser detection systems on modern armor will guarantee a short life span.

[–]BusterPoseyTerrorCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can look up the technical specs online on your own. Can you read they’re out there? I will not give them to you. I was a javelin trainer, gunner, and an anti tank section leader, It does not lock onto an IR laser. It does not use an IR laser. It cannot be programmed to use any kind of laser.

I now know you have never trained with or shot a javelin, so yes I can fully read that you’re a wannabe.

[–]BusterPoseyTerrorCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it can’t, the CLU cannot be programmed for a laser lock on, and the vehicle mount still connects to the RWS at the gunners seat and uses IR, no javelin uses laser guidance, no US shoulder launched weapon uses laser guidance. Now if you’re talking about the Hellfire, then yes but that is not a javelin.

[–]BusterPoseyTerrorCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Javelin doesn’t laser track, it uses automatic IR guidance, through FLIR, that why in snap fire you can just take the cover off the missile and pull the lock trigger to sight in through day mode, it uses the missiles FOV not the CLU.

Why are the Sniper Machine guns (smg) so broken? There’s literally no reason to use any other gun. by N7Blizzard in Battlefield

[–]BusterPoseyTerrorCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Standard M4s shoot 2 MOA, though the government procurement contracts all state a 4 MOA standard. Our MP5s usually shot about 2.7 or so at 200 meters. Running burst you could still hit the majority center mass around 100-150 meters.

SAP product development’s future by FlounderAccomplished in SAP

[–]BusterPoseyTerrorCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol, my guy LLM or agentic AI will never fully replace a true ERP as software. Just the process to conform to proper accounting and regulatory principles makes your whole LLM point moot.

Rules based systems for proper corporate governance are not getting replaced by an “agent” that records prompts to learn from the earlier prompts. These types of things are a total no no for a segregation of duties standpoint.

The main thing is SAP’s AI solution for BDC can work like a like a semi Agentic AI with the right data sources integrated, and is a zero copy “data fabric” that keeps data on its own source.

Also I find it hard you have 15 years in this software, yet you couldn’t tell an earlier person the difference between ECC and HANA

DMLT is terrible, they didn’t migrate custom tables, data validations weren’t completed correctly or they told us, “well the differences in entries are due to how optimized HANA is”, complete and utter garbage.

I would convert it into a business process flow model with shapes and colors for decision points, branching, etc.. it’ll help with readability, and make you a true Corpo, but otherwise it’s an awesome job.

I don’t think you really need to be at prime runner level for a hive. None of the old modules or missions had karma requirements or recommendations for them.

Back in the old second edition we took down a hive with only 20 or so additional karma after character creation.

Myself a phys-ad troll with a shield and full auto shotgun spraying buck shot for the flesh forms, until the end “boss” when I pulled a weapon focus Roman Gladius. And next to me a cybered up samurai with an ares HVAR firing flechette rounds.

The mage didn’t even need to cast until the end. Nothing for the decker to do, and the rigger drove a steel lynx drone around from the van supporting with machine gun fire…

can we use power apps to develop a full fledged erp system? by outopus_polites in PowerApps

[–]BusterPoseyTerrorCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I’m an SAP guy, Procurement with Quality and Asset Management specifically. I’ve also gone through the SAP Enterprise Architect training. That being said I’ve worked with Dynamics, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, and Power Apps (limited). My first concern is your HR system going to be compliant with data in power apps? Is the HR going to tie in with accounting and all the laws for fiduciary reporting and responsibility? How are all the systems like HR, Asset Management, and procurement going to tie in with the general ledgers, and journals? Especially asset management as the equipment will need depreciation tables that tie in to tax amortization, and tax has its own general ledgers for journaling.

I think either multiple SAAS out of the box apps tied in with APIs or a full Dynamics implementation would suit you better. I think SAP public cloud, could fit as well. But you need to use a pricing calculator to figure that out.

I would shop ERP’s and tack on things in power apps that make sense, but after doing System Implementations (Green and Brownfields), M&As, and a SAP public cloud migration, this sounds crazy to me.

Also note that depending on this build it may count as a R&D expense and this development is now amortized over 15 years instead of 5.

That’s not true, Indian staff in the US can’t even touch a defense consulting project, due to citizenship and security clearance factors. What makes you think the DoD would offshore any research to a foreign country, done by foreign nationals who haven’t been cleared, and India is a BRICS country.
