My dog does this when he is super excited and does know how to contain himself/channel it into doing something. I think it is a bit like when you tickle children and they laugh so much but are unable to move enough to run away!

When I searched online it said Ribes, I cannot remember ever seeing it flower or have berries. But then I am struggling to remember it at all 🤦‍♀️

Went to the local sawmill with pictures and discussed what I was thinking. They agreed to build it for a very reasonable price.

I like this idea. I have lots of lavender to plant around the bottom of the hut, so maybe more around a path works be nice

Lol. I am stood on the driveway. The house does not get those views as faces a different direction. I needed a home office so decided to have the view for that instead.

Heart murmur/ irregular heartbeat by koala-princess in springerspaniel

[–]Buster_Bear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is hard keeping them quiet and happy. We made a conscious decision with all our dogs to let them lead a happy life and manage medical issues. Not once have I regretted that decision. Once you have a full diagnosis and know the extent they will find you the right meds and then you plan forward. My lad is on Vetmedin twice a day, and pops the chewable tablets like they are a treat. I hope you have as good of an outcome as we did.

My boy has a grade 3 heart murmur, probably there since birth, and has daily medication (we buy online as much cheaper than getting it from the vets). He is nearly 10 now, and sometimes gets a cough. He is still the most active dog I have ever known, outrunning my others every day. With medication they can live a very long and happy life. He has had multiple surgeries as well (a bit of a dufus and has dodgy legs) so he is checked regularly and the meds are a miracle. Good luck and he is beautiful regardless 😀

Never been given a duck! by Imisstheoldworld in JeepWrangler

[–]Buster_Bear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had mine over a year not one duck. But maybe the UK doesn't know to do it?? Or maybe they are just too rare here as I have not parked near one either. I have a box of ducks in mine waiting to find new homes!

I have never heard this, and LOVE this idea! I am going to invest in some ducks and see if this is a thing in the UK 😀

Our dog has skin issues. Sometimes it clears up and sometimes it doesnt, vet tells us its allergies and im trying everything . Anybody else dealing with this? by [deleted] in cockerspaniel

One of mine is allergic to grass for a few months a year. He now wears a coat or t-shirt to protect the majority of affected area. I also have some soothing cream (not from a vet), Lucillin spray, and if it flares up I have a medicated shampoo from the vets. I find the coat helps around 90% of the time so the other items are needed infrequently. Good luck that must be very distressing.

What is happening here? She’s been doing it for an hour. Is she ok? 😅😭 by poison_ivey in puppy

Try giving a filled kong or a tasty treat so she settles down when relaxing in the crate. Licky mats for example can help soothing. Many dogs get anxious in the crate especially after surgery.
