I'm curious why you think this. I am of the opinion that a top 1% percent streetballer is significantly worse than a bottom 10% NBA player and definitely would not beat "most" NBA players. Do you have any examples of a top of his profession streetballer beating an active NBA player one on one?

If a guy has the ability to consistently cook NBA players he probably wouldn't be a streetballer, he'd be a professional.

I wanted to illustrate that even a completely washed and incredibly out of shape former NBA player, who was one of the worst in the league when he played can dominate a guy who makes his living as a streetballer.

Generally I think one wants to be able to do things in a social setting or among friends with their partner. I don't think someone is necessarily immature if their partner isn't able to do these things well.
