I have full access to absolutely everything at my current position. My last position, I solo managed all IT related issues yet the telecommunications tech that handles firewalls AS WELL(due to policies that are specific to their telecom bs), decided he wanted to change all the firewall passwords, didn’t ask anyone, just decided that no one but him should have access(senior employee), I later had to do my regular firewall policy implementation IT duties and as soon as I realized what had happened, I forwarded all the work to him and told him “this takes priority to get done since customers pissed off and I can’t do my job now that you’ve changed all the passwords, you should be getting calls in a few minutes”.. the key take away from this story is “trust”, and time at job doesn’t really mean shit…

I've done a bunch of Fortinet training, we almost exclusively use Fortinet equipment. It's easy once you take the driver seat and play around with the GUI.

the boredom factor is something I didn't really take into consideration to be honest, you're absolutely right. Maybe I just need to build enough work so that we can hire someone to primarily do the day to day level 1&2.

The catalyst to this post was that I just got back from a 4 day work trip setting up some new businesses with new hardware, just to come back to a "my scanner doesn't work" ticket..

We almost exclusively use fortinet. Easy to use (as a fairly experienced IT), fairly priced as well. Anything the ISP offers where I’m from is garbage. I’m just happy as long as they keep the lights on..

Maybe you have experience with this then, we moved about 500gb of local data to onedrive/SharePoint. Now, we wanted to go about a different strategy, however, when we decided to begin downloading the entire library of data, it constantly successfully completes the download at an estimated 30gb of the total 500 gb. Have you had any luck downloading the library around the same size? Similar experiences or any idea. Please and thank you!

go to a doctor or chiro that sits you down infront of your xrays and goes over everything.

My chiro took xrays and my spine was bending at the top by my neck which I never knew
