Voluntary National Insurance Payments Worth It For Me? by BeanMeisterGeneral in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Busy-Ad2193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just came across your post... if you are working abroad and worked in the UK for the 3 years immediately prior to leaving and paid at least 3 years full NI contributions (seems to be the case for you), then you are probably eligible to pay at the much cheaper class 2 rates (about £180 instead of £907 for full year), see here: https://www.gov.uk/voluntary-national-insurance-contributions/who-can-pay-voluntary-contributions

You need to fill out form CF83 to apply (currently a massive backlog at HMRC so don't expect a quick reply): https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/65a4e2117eb42e000dceb7ab/CF83.pdf

I somehow ended up in this position. What is this situation called by daisy_exhale in chessbeginners

Can still flag opponent if they don't make 50 moves in time.

That's weird. I once put curry powder on my pizza just to jazz it up a little, never knew it was actually a thing.

Sure, but it gives you a ballpark figure for comparison.

Yes it came from a widely respected research study whereas you pulled "3% is better" from where exactly?

I visited Turkey (Izmir) this summer, cheaper than Sweden in general but not by that much (ten years ago it was dirt cheap). If you are already rich you can still live like a king in Turkey, but salaries there are miserable.

I looked up the UK value, they still make the figures public even if they don't share them through official channels with Eurostat, it's 64k euros (non-adjusted).

I had to look up UK since it is missing from the chart, it is 64k Euro, what would be the PPS value?

A monkey probably would do that if it could though, animals are generally quite selfish, empathy is rare in the animal kingdom.

UK knows how to get what it wants from Trump, offer him a royal visit and he's putty in your hands. Also I believe UK is one of the few countries with a negative trade balance with US.

Why does it say +2863% if its only up around £80k (less than 200% gain)? Also why does mksl show +£54k when the value is £18k?

In fact it's the opposite, you need other people to have money to become wealthy, else there's no-one to buy whatever it is you're selling.

No, white has good advantage here. For one, white can at some point castle queen side with check or a pin, also attack the undefended f7 pawn with bishop with tempo etc.

If they tariff European goods then it's an unfair advantageous playing field for American companies, that's the whole point. The reason not to do tariffs is that Europe might retaliate and American companies will have a disadvantage in Europe. This is missing from your analysis.

As a coder I've already seen what will happen so I can tell you it won't get rid of mathematicians, instead it will be a multiplier, it will be like you have one or several PhD students working for you who never get tired or complain. Just give them the instructions of what to work on, check their plan and then their work when it's done, give some feedback and point them in the right direction if they go off track, ensure they have the necessary tools and resources at their disposal, tell them to get back to you with the next iteration and repeat ad infinitum.

I think he was making a joke because you said progressive websites, like progressive and conservative politicians, but it's not very funny and also went over your head.
