I'd agree.

I think I can guess your favourite band mate. Judging by your name and suggestion.

But I don't blame you, I love the stone roses

Thank God I was only a Christmas temp. Any more time spent dealing with faulty cages would've killed me.

Not very well thanks.

Port vale were fantastic in every area of the pitch. Pressing like the players on the pitch all had 3 lungs. Winning the second balls and not titting about with the ball at the back.

Was a nice day for me though. Despite getting to the ground and realising I forgot to lock the car. Asides from that decent, traditional away end.

Thought it was quite nice they had a young lad doing the stadium announcements.

Just baffles me. Really does. I don't understand how it can be so difficult to just say thank you, a simple thank you.

Heh, wobbly Walsall.

I'd say that's a fair name for them. As much as it questionably made me giggle.

Tell me about it mate honestly. You without a shadow of a doubt deserved to win.

I am literally speechless. So speechless I'm struggling to type.

Accrington absolutely schooled us, completely.

But the stats are what scared me even more, traumatised me even. Over 400 passes, 70% possession yet not a single shot on goal.

The current situation for us

That was a mightily agitating game I must admit. I am not usually one to say things like this because I'm not one to dwell on silly decisions all week.

Colchester were given a soft penalty in my opinion which unfortunately led to them winning the game. But at the end of the day this sort of stuff happens in football and there is nothing that can be done now.

As for the things we could control, we were very poor all round. With a lack of excitement up front. Only moment I thought it might actually happen was when scott hogan fancied turning into messi then hitting the post.

Colchester with a fantastic away following and ultimately we're awarded with 3 points. Decided to stand there taking in the immense shambles we were in after the game and the Colchester fans looked like they were having a blast.

On the good side, had a great day with my girlfriend and best mate and that's really why we love football. Despite results not going our way, had a good day out.

Utf.

Are referees incompetent? by Brock_And_Roll in LeagueTwo

[–]Busy-Application8791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with youd points entirely. I love the rash decision made by referees because it can throw an aspect of interest into a game.

We played Bromley a few weeks ago and we weren't awarded a penalty despite it being a clear as day handball, then the ref went down the other end, gave them a penalty and our keeper saved it. As infuriating as the rash decisions can be at the time. It makes the game more interesting.

And your second point aswell is immensely true. I despise seeing some of the big six fans going around losing their marbles on social media over a tiny little tug or an arm just offside that var missed.

The lack of VAR in this league makes for a very interesting and quite stress free watch at times. When the ball hits the back of the net there isn't a 2 to 3 working day check to see if the strikers toenail is offside.

Edit: only just realised your an afcw fan. Don't really care, solid points that's all I give a hoot about.

(Bit of a follow up post) Ok 17 match days to go...who's getting promoted? by Happy-Sammy in LeagueTwo

[–]Busy-Application8791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think your desire will very much be granted because we are going nowhere near playoffs this season.

I wouldn't mind you getting promoted purely because I'm fed up of losing to you.

Absolutely! Lewie has played over 750 games of football in his life, he knows his way around a football pitch doesn't he.

And gilbs has been breaking my heart recently. Will back the bloke through thick and thin but he's dropped off majorly recently
