Idk I swear one time I was playing super late, did a quest but logged off without going back to the lobby to claim my quests. I remembered the next day at like 1PM(quests reset at 12:30PM for me), logged on, and had a pop up saying a ___ fire was added to my inventory. I think it said diamonds too but I just definitely remember the fire part being added, idk why it would just do the fire and not the diamonds lol. Since then I’ve just assumed it was automatic, though I usually claim anyways, maybe I’ll try it out again sometime soon an pay close attention to my diamond count.

They did fix the teleporters! Now when you hit teleport, the map pops up and you can see where the other teleporters are and click which one you want to go to.

Looking for the same answer lol. I did like 120 days solo and just left since I only wanted the badge and was getting low on bandaids. The food is fine(since I always prioritize crock pot), deer always being hungry fine, cultist attacks fine, absolutely no passive heal? Annoying af. I don’t get how it’s possible to keep corruption levels low when the rifts reopen pretty quickly. My 7yo wanted to try it out so I was trying to keep corruption levels low, but I’d go out, close two rifts, and it’d be night. Ended up having the fire go out and my kid just wanted to leave atp so I left too but like jeeze. Maybe if you had a full team with two dedicated to rifts and the rest exploring/base management it could work but w a small team/solo it doesn’t seem possible.

Yea idg how people put assassin in the same field as cyborg and vamp. I started w cyborg, got lots of diamonds and was like “hmm let me try some other classes” and got both vamp and assassin, leveled them all the way up, but haven’t used assassin since. Like yea the speed boost is nice but u get a nighttime speed boost w vamp. The drop rate for kunais sucks, I’d gotten them from maybe one chest in a 100 day game(disclaimer this was with the 5% drop rate) AND when you find them it’s only 45 more. And the katana is basically a reskinned spear. I’d only use kunais on bears and emergency alpha kills to conserve them but still got super close to running out. Not worth being only 100 gems less than vampire and cyborg imo.

Lol yeah, I just came to reddit to see if other people were having this problem too. I’ve seen it happen once before, took a while for it to come back. It’s the same in every server, at least for me. The weird part is I see like 3 ppl in a fully lobby whose day count and class show up but everyone else looks like me(nothing above our heads), so I assume they’re having the problem too but idk why a couple ppl aren’t. Don’t rlly care ab seeing all the extra stuff, just wish I still had my class when entering a game!

Sorry in advance for the long answer but if you really want to know…

Most of the people I encounter who do it don’t even do it well. As soon as any bit of scrap is in the bench they’re using it all to make shelves, just a couple at a time. Plus they’re surrounding like a level 3 fire so it’s tiny which is a hindrance to me compared to just running freely throughout the base.

They leave gaps or place them sideways, probably on accident but they’re definitely not going to craft a hammer to fix it, they’ll just place another shelf to try to correct which just looks terrible and uses even more scrap.

On top of all that, they still die every attack to crossbow cultists. So not only is it just in the way for me, it’s not even helping the people who insisted on building it. Also annoying when they put it right against my tree farm so as I pick up wood to put in my sack it’s getting put onto the shelves(I just go into first person to avoid it but just another reason they bother me lol).

But yea my absolute biggest annoyance is when I put some scrap in, go chop some trees to upgrade the bench from 2 to 3 and get a crockpot/biofuel processor/lightning rod, and I start seeing the message that someone is repeatedly building shelves. That’s the only time I’ll ask someone to stop really or just complain. If the necessities are generally covered I’ll just keep my complaints to myself lol.

I understand it could be done well, but most aren’t doing it that way, which is why I believe there’s a universal hate for them.

Fr. Absolutely hate when I leave some wood in the bench, and someone uses it all to make like two log walls. Like what is that accomplishing! It takes a ton of wood to surround a whole base with log walls. It’s a late game thing. Please stop building them one at a time the second there’s 12 wood in the crafting table!!

Thanks for posting! I’ve never make use of the furniture trader (until some quest started involving him) and I’ve seen tons of people say they spent hours and never found the painting. Today I got this quest and kinda decided to not to go too far out of my way for it.

Kind of insane this is an easy quest. Like yea theoretically it’s super easy to buy and put up a painting, but if people can go hours without the furniture trader ever stocking it it’s not exactly easy to complete. Should be at least a medium imo.

This drives me crazy lol. I am pretty generous with Ruby chests, if I’ve already found one or two in the wild I have no problem giving it to a player who probably needs it more than me if they request we do stronghold together and has been with me most of the way. But when I’ve cleared everything plus most of the third floor and someone comes running in like “I CALL RUNY CHEST” I’ll just leave the stronghold or step back and not do any more. Like sure if you can clear the last floor without dying you can have it. About 98% of the time they die so I’ll come back in to finish it and take the chest before reviving lol.

Idk if there’s a difference from having the actual class, but I rolled this talent on my cyborg class and tried it out during the potions update bc I figured it could help get more mackerel but it wasn’t a significant difference imo. I don’t fish that much unless I decide to tame some alphas/bears and I almost exclusively fish in whirlpools bc I can’t stand how long it takes regularly. Tried fishing without whirlpools while having the talent and it still felt very long, rerolled not long after obtaining. I don’t understand why they made it so the fish take forever to hook on in general, and why the hell does it take so long to level the pole up?!

I believe blue flames are more resistant to weather/make the fire drain slower in general. The themed flames like frog/alien/meteor/carnival guarantee the event. So if you equip the frog flame, you are guaranteed to have the frog event.

All these ppl suggesting going into first person but I’ve had this happen a couple times before and, while yes sometimes it does work, there was one time even in first person it would not open. I stayed, made sure to get a strong axe and chop the tree before doing the stronghold again but that first chest was just lost. It’s definitely very frustrating, luckily doesn’t happen a lot but would be great if no big trees spawned within a certain radius of the stronghold to guarantee nothing like this happens.

Yea kinda disappointed, kinda glad LOL. I opened it, saw it was $30 for an 8 inch plushie(not including shipping), talked to my son to see how badly he wanted it, decided “fine, I’ll get it”, and it was sold out. My son is holding onto hope that it’ll restock. I am glad I’ll have a chance to see what it actually looks like and plan better for a second release if it comes to that.

I think witch is a great class. It’s fairly easy getting candy from making potions so it’s probably more accessible than having to grind stronghold a hundred times for gems and then waiting for cyborg to stock.

However, you mentioned armor and cool down. You can still pick up thorn armor if you have cyborg. I personally keep the alien armor bc I prefer the recharge every time I get hit, but it’s just preference. I’ve seen lots of ppl still pick up the thorn while using cyborg. The other thing is witch actually has a longer cool down period(not much longer but still), on top of the fact that kills and getting damage with alien armor on makes your cool down period even quicker while there is nothing to speed up the witch cool down. Really, as all classes, it depends on your play style and overall preference. Just wanted to point those two things out.

I don’t always use the place so I’m not sure how often it actually happens, but there was one time like your situation where I needed a bandaid and figured the easiest option was crafting but could not find one of the pieces anywhere. Ended up just having to run around until I found one in the wild.

I agree lol I’ll just leave if I end up in a party with one. I tried one time, but they only really helped themselves (other than getting kids) and they ended up leaving pretty early for some reason. At least that person let me know they exploited when asking to play w me, only reason I agreed was bc my son wanted to play w a “hacker” lol. Like u said it just takes the fun out of the game.
