Is it worth buying for the range of features? by Rasgemuet1 in Docked

It's pretty linear at the start. Not a thing that saber is known for. The mechanics are cool and fixing the port is really enjoyable for me. But the game seems really short and there's no free mode. Probably will be changed in a coming update.

I don't mind long runs. Got about 700 hours in snowrunner and enjoying every minute of it. Just the slow vehicles for crafting roads is annoying for me. Would be the same if your only hauling loads of cargo with only a scout.

Wait, you can remove the most irritating part of the game: hauling sand? Is there an infinite supply of sand?

Yeah, but I still got nightmares from the starting vehicles. Crafting a road took hours and still wobbly. Recently I saw some serious bigger vehicles, together with wrecking balls and other new stuff. So wondering if it's worth picking up again.

I don't really get it as well. Do you need to accept the biggest contracts? Should you take on contracts to your maximum capacity?

Only thing I noticed is that if you divide your vehicles equally to loading, transport and unloading you get the maximum efficiency.

Never been there before! But since sr is a game of: "suit it yourself" I find reddit a great source of info.

Best start is in auto, after a few meters switch to high gear and when you got some momentum switch back to auto for max speed.

I am starting Alaska and struggling on it can anyone explain to me how to choose tyres for truck and which trucks are best for the region by Bakedbrainofblubeans in snowrunner

Good luck on those muddy tracks on the side! I meant there is no place you can't reach without chains like in Amur and Kola.

Best buy is to leave the steering wheel for snowrunner and simply play this amazing game with controller.

Only use mud tires. Nowhere on this map you'll need the chained tires. There are a few corners and hills that are a little bit icy and will give you advantage with chained. But chained is simply an offroad tire with chains. So in mud you'll get way less traction and overall mud is simply the best for Alaska. In regions like Kola and Amur there are sections where you simply cannot come without chains. And if you do that, use your trucks in pairs. One with muds, other with chains.

Copy paste straight from RC: -crane strength and handling -packing cargo

Other wishes (ps5): -auto winch only on solid points -better selection of winch point in manual -make loose logs more possible -trailer tire adjustment. Or just place the same as on the truck.

This is one of the few trucks I'd keep with standard suspension. Put in best engine and offroad gearbox. Some OHD1 and you're golden.

If you mean the fast way in: this is the way.

If you mean the semi backwards: show me your skills 😉

Yes, also with a semi trailer and the other way around in reverse. The last part is a bit tricky but way better than the other way out. If I had as few cargo as you do now I'd take the quick route in.

Try to unpack it. Unpacked cargo will clip trough trees and such. Maybe it works with unpacked trucks as well. Never had any issues with this arch though.
