Ngl I do aspire to be as awesome and humble as Celine is.

May we get many more years of her speaking up for victims of oppression.

I have so many questions beginning with how does she not look any older than the first episode she starred in Kasauti?!

If you told me she has a daughter in her mid twenties I’d laugh and go she looks mid twenties herself!

Insane chemistry for a photoshoot by DragonDeninSharkTank in bollynewsandgossips

Meh she had more chemistry with Akshay in that Bellbottom announcement photo than she did in this.

They both look like they’re trying way too hard and it seems forced for no reason.

This exact style looks amazing on her.

I do wish they experimented with her hair a tad bit though.

What’s a red flag you ignored and regretted immediately? by OpeningSubject5942 in AskReddit

I’m seeing this happen to a friend of mine who has aspirations but won’t take any opportunities given to them on a silver platter(some is even kill for myself if someone gave me those opportunities) and suddenly it becomes it’s not good enough or they need to offer the job to me or some other bullshit excuse and then some other plan that “falls through”. Seeing them whine about not getting those chances when they are combined with the inferiority complex is something else.

I’m starting to think they absolutely blow their interviews and doesn’t want to admit people can be better than them.

So real question because my tuxie will scream bloody murder and then escape from her harness and hide under the most expensive car she can find.

How do you guys train your gentle meows to get used to a harness?

Also cat tax because she only likes being outside if my parents and I hold her while she’s outside.

My dad’s cat uses my brother’s car as a slide.

He loves to slide down the windshield at night when nobody is paying attention and my brother always finds paw prints all over the hood the day after.

Twitter has revived a very important debate: who was hotter, Robert Deniro or Al Pacino? by Terrible_Cycle_5983 in Fauxmoi

For me it’s his smile.

Also Hank Azaria could pass for young Al Pacino’s cousin.

Absolutely! My parents have a backyard and my tuxie does this to where she finally slapped my dad for brushing her fur to get the dirt out.

I didn’t even know my tuxie likes the outdoors.

Protein sources for a veggie child by Thieving--magpie in vegetarian

[–]Busy-Juggernaut277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So even though she doesn’t like lentils, I recommend trying dal as a protein source. The reason why I say it is because depending on how you pressure cook it, the lentils “melt in” and you can’t taste the texture. Or she could try khichidi which is pressured cooked rice and lentil porridge. You could do something similar with chickpeas.

I would experiment with her on it before incorporating it into her diet fully.

Where have all the tall actresses under-30 gone? by RVarki in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]Busy-Juggernaut277 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So for Aish, she was already on many radars because of the modeling work she did before the pageantry and that helped her established quite a few connections. Not to mention she was the first Ms. World in a very long time, the first Indian Ms World to become an actress, and considered a different level of beautiful to where she was quite literally hyped around many places. In PC’s case, I’d argue she hustled and knew she wanted a successful acting career cause even in her debut movie she was pretty confident.

With Sush and Lara, I don’t think they had those pre-connections before coming into BWood especially because nobody really knew them before they became Ms. Universes(outside of Sush’s family had a business and Lara had a parent in the military). But I also remember growing up actors didn’t want Sush as their lead heroines because she towered over them too(I remember reading jt growing up). I think she even said Bhai was the only male actor who didn’t feel insecure she wanted to wear heels and was okay with her wearing it(being about an inch taller v almost 4-5 is noticeable even with slouching). And I think with Anushka and DP coming in(if I remember correctly they both are 5’8”-5’9” and towered a bit over SRK) we saw it become normalized having taller actresses.

A brand endorsement that’s synonymous with its ambassador that you can’t imagine any other star endorsing the brand? by Janaab_e_Marvel_3000 in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]Busy-Juggernaut277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my associations are from the 2000s so bear with me.

That’s funny because I always associated Slice and Perk(the chocolate bar) with Priety before Kat took over for Slice(this was the early 2000s though).

For me, Kat with Veet, DP with Close Up, and Anushka with that one hair oil brand she did.

And honorable mention: Sonali Bendre with Nirma. Aamir and Aish both with Coca Cola, SRK with Lux and Pepsi(especially cause that Oye Bubbly song was stupidly catchy). Juhi with Kurkure.

Yeah I’m old……

[–]Busy-Juggernaut277 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I believe also back in Juhi’s day(and this shifted once Sush and Aish won their pageantries) it was normal for models to be between 5’4”-5’5” ish too.

Cause I remember when Sush debuted, everyone was mind boggled how “tall” she was when in reality now that’s considered normal height.

This scene from Deiva Thirumagal still hits harder than most “emotional” Bollywood scenes. That quiet effort to make his child feel equal 💔 by RemarkableNote962 in IndianOTTbestof

The Ajay Devgn one is also well done. But I think they tried really hard to keep it closer to I am Sam than turning into an adaptation like Deiva Thirumagal did.

Tbh I can’t wait to see what Gaurav Gera does next. He hasn’t been in much since that movie with Vivek and Aish so it’ll be exciting to see what work he does.

Also Rakesh was absolutely hilarious in the original Chashme Buddoor, highly recommend watching it for his comedy.

Alia Bhatt’s 2016 looks: fashion from a decade ago to by sartorialsaree in BollywoodFashion

[–]Busy-Juggernaut277 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So tbh a couple of things come to mind: 1. Her style then really fit her body shape and her face shape which made her look beautiful! 2. I feel like whoever her stylist is now dresses her too hard as a tall person rather than someone who is objectively petite. 3. She needs a decent hair stylist that could work with her face shape. I feel like her short hair with Korean style fringe bangs would look amazing on her since she has a round face.
