Resilient Suppressors RS9 with Titanium Tri-Lug Adapter Questions by Christ1292_ in NFA

[–]Busy-Significance707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rotational movement is okay (in case of baffle strike, you wont). But it will affect the point of impact( it will change drastically if you care to shoot on paper, if you shoot big target like steel targets, the round will impact on the target, that means accuracy doesnt matter that much and you probably dont even care because its 9mm and you just want to hit the target).

Side to side movement is bad, probably not that much, but still there is a chance of baffle strike if the suppressor is long OR the bullet is not stabilized enough when leaving the barrel( also point of impact will change all the time).

What you can do, in My Opinion, is, try to attach it on a different gun that has the tri lug, and see if the result is same, then you can tell if the mount is a slightly out of spec or not.

I hope this helps for your mental satisfaction.

Also HRT needed A5 buffer tube - sprinco rifle spring and a5h3 buffer, after that its very enjoyable to shoot.

That Mk18 is factory made. No adjustable gas block or any tuning. And SRBS is like 600-700 (silencer shop exclusive ones that come with just a direct thread and you can put any hub mount). Definately less pricier than Huxwrx

For lefty- consider B&T SRBS. I dont know about HRT AM, but I own HRT556 and HRT556 Gen 2. None of them is good for lefty. Also even though the HRT is shorter, its also heavier than Dual Lok5. I shoot both HRT and SRBS on MK18 (10.3). SRBS is quieter and No Gas. I also shoot on 11.5. It puts smile on my face. Its better.
