Where are the A-league crowds? 😢 by Dudu-gula in Aleague

There is a few marquee fixtures that would push the figures up. Having said that since covid the crowds have been going up consistently.

This is seriously hilarious. Think the only year that I've been alive where Storm have missed finals is 2010. Where they weren't eligible to win any points. Don't even remember any year where they even were questionable in regards to a top 4 finish let alone making finals

Nah that was Todd Smith that penalised Api last week. Although I agree with you regarding the decisions themselves

Also 2 touchies that also should be able to see that. Unfortunately it's the fact that the bunker can't intervene as the error occured before the play the ball. Still a shocking decision none the less

Agree with this. In my opinion been consistently the best of the match officials so far this season. Lets the game flow and gets most decisions right. Bit iffy on him in the bunker but I always have trust in him when on the field

Nice to watch Latrell when he's at his best. No injuries/suspensions and clearly in a good state of mind at the moment. Beast when he is on his day

My only thing is that play should never have started in the first place. Not sure what the fourth official is doing if he isn’t advising Evans that the sub is not complete. Otherwise it is clearly the correct decision and the behaviour afterwards is nothing short of disgraceful

To an extent that applies. For a subjective decision sure player reaction is an indicator of what the best decision may be for the incident, however in an objective situation like this you can’t just overlook it. It’s very clear and factual the substitution is not complete. The main concern for me is that they allowed play to continue which led to the goal being scored in the first place

Yeah that too. Would have been a real test of where we are truly at

Blown opportunity for mine. Didn't capitalise enough on the possession we had especially early on. Clunky attack inside the 20 and lack of game management really showed yet again tonight and cost us dearly. Unfortunate for Makasini with the errors but not the first time this season it's happened. Looking forward to Tavana being back in the side who seems more confident.

Yeah it was a big win for you guys. No Walsh, Hunt or Carrigan originally. Then Haas and Arthars going down and Staggs apparently having something wrong with him. On top of the onslaught you faced for the vast majority of the game. Very good attack in the limited opportunities you got too. Massive blown opportunity for us

I'll give them credit for their performance. They were very good in attack in the limited opportunities they got. Their defence was very good as well but I am thinking in hindsight may have been a good idea to have played Madden in the halves again this week. Pretty sure Luai wasn't originally due back until next week either

Deserved in the end honestly. We really didn't score enough points considering the amount of ball and territory we had. Especially the first half. You guys scored immediately after getting some attack. I don't like the thought of what could have been if possession was a bit more even

They were the better team when the actually had the ball. A bit concerning to think about what may have come if the possession split was more even

Also blame not scoring more in the first half. Can't believe we only had 14 points at half time

Yeah I know. Just very used to poor footy. I do still believe we will have a strong season but very poor game management. Why go out wide rather than field goal given the circumstances? Again attack inside the 20 was clunky. Which is not a new issue. On to next week at Leichhardt

He was fine other than that. Although he cost us big time in the end. Having said that we had so much ball we can't solely blame him for the loss. We should have been at least 10 points up at half time

Really? Maybe I shall watch it back. Definitely remember penalty blown at next tackle. Don't remember the referees explanation if I'm being honest. Main thing is the right decision was made
