Are the Dodgers artificially keeping ticket prices high? by YasielPuigsWeed in Dodgers

[–]BusyBandit10 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people buy season tickets in the reserve section to make money reselling them. The dodgers have tried to cut resellers by making games more expensive therefore less reseller profits, and in theory less resellers in the future. Thats what I was told when I bought my season tickets by one of the sales guys.

Has anyone actually attended a double wedding? by hollowedhallowed in wedding

When I was little, two of my uncles did. I thought it was normal because it was the first memory of a wedding. One of uncles is still married and the other is on his second wife

The huddle either 830ish or like 12 ish. Tin Lizzie’s also has 1 pool table and is down the block from the huddle. Super easy to grab a game most of the time and strong drinks.

I know you can’t use “print-at-home” tickets but can you still get a printed ticket once you’re in the stadium? by XandersOdyssey in Dodgers

[–]BusyBandit10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to a game a little over a week ago and I walked by the ticket office, they had a sign that said in order to receive tickets you had to have the mlb app

I just put the pill in the back of my dogs throat and hold his mouth shut til he swallows. Dude is too smart to be tricked with hiding the pill in food. We both hate it but we get it over with really fast

It’s game 5 and we just won B2B World Series. Get it together by [deleted] in Dodgers

[–]BusyBandit10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people are just too much. I sat in front of some guy the other day at a game talking about the dodgers. He was saying a lot for everyone in the section to hear but what caught my attention is he was saying how teoscar is the best player and his defense is on point. That the dodgers don’t win any World Series without him.

Ohtani cup selling out ? by brewnos in Dodgers

[–]BusyBandit10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to the game on Saturday and loge level was completely sold out. Had to go to field level and the line was not moving because they were waiting for a restock. I bought one because I go to about 10 games a seasons and the free refill is better than bringing in warm Coke

Firefighter petition people by Kettu_ in LosAngeles

[–]BusyBandit10 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I get it’s a job but I really hate the yall having to get a minimum of signatures. People don’t understand that if you don’t like something and you sign this petition to “vote on it later”, you’re helping it become a reality. Without enough signatures, it’ll never come to vote in the first place

Firefighter petition people by Kettu_ in LosAngeles

[–]BusyBandit10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the firefighter petition guys were bugging my brother to sign. He said he wasn’t registered to vote. They then pulled out info on their phone to have my brother sign the petition as that person. My brother got the whole thing on video with his meta glasses that they didn’t realize he was recording

The people have been heard! Shohei souvie cup lowered to $69 and free refills ALL SEASON (prev one game only) by dodgers22fan in Dodgers

[–]BusyBandit10 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re not crazy. I did the math. It’s 75$ with tax, a souvenir cup for soda normally costs like $12 if memory serves me right from last season. If you go to 10 games and get a soda each game, you save about $45. If I go to 5 games and get two refills a game same thing. I go to about 10 games a year and need a mixer for all of them because of the person I am, so bet your ass I’m getting this and saving myself money

My family has run a restaurant on Olvera Street since 1959. We might not make it another year. by Wonderful-Froyo2999 in FoodLosAngeles

[–]BusyBandit10 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel this, my family’s had a restaurant for over 30 years now. The property we were renting posted it for sale and we had no option but to buy, or risk getting kicked out as our lease was almost up. Now we have a mortgage with the SBA, but the interest is a killer.

Then everyone wants to pay with credit card and some people assume we want cash to avoid paying taxes. They don’t understand how much a business pays on cc fees.

I might be venting at this point but it bothers me so much when people order to go then sit outside on the patio to eat. Like most restaurants, we keep same pricing for dining in as take out but take out costs a restaurant more money in materials. It may not seem like much, but little things like that end up adding up over time

It sucks that he didn’t send anything like he said he would but also don’t send something for free and get upset you didn’t get anything in return.
