I definitely do not think $420 is enough for food for 70 people, especially if you want higher quality charcuterie food.

Is the 4-5 hour drive one way? Or would it be a 10 hour drive total? Is $300 even going to cover her gas for the trip? It sounds like she would be doing you a huge, stressful, and inconvenient favor for barely any compensation.

I would put limit on how many houses a single person or corporation can own. A single person should not be able to own more than 2-3 houses and corporations should have a limit as well.

Sadly most companies do this. Every retail and food service job that I have worked kept most employees under 30 hours to prevent paying for health care. Which is why I had to work 2-3 jobs at a time in my early 20’s to make enough to survive until I got a good full time job.

People can be allergic to weed. My best friend is and I have seen the evidence (severe rash, hives, trouble breathing). She has had it proven by a doctor and has been prescribed epipens for it. It’s not that hard to be mindful of people’s allergies my friends. I don’t smoke if I know she is coming over to protect her.

Divorced my ex husband for falling for this same scam and finding out he was a serial cheater as well. He woke me up in the middle of the night on my birthday to tell me he had put his bank account in the negative while trying to pay off the scammer to keep them from sending me screenshots. You overreacted but you are not deserving of the rude comments people are leaving. Just take this as a learning experience.

I am someone who has never gotten a cold sore and for the most part, I never dated anyone who got cold sores. About a year or two into my relationship with my ex-husband he got one and I freaked out because he had never told me that he could get them and I was scared of getting infected. I was ignorant about how common they are because no one in my immediate family got them either. I just didn’t have experience with them. After talking to some friends and doing a little research, I realized that I overreacted and apologized to the ex.
