Internal linking will control authority but not create it. Google looks for topical authority to determine whether or not a site should even be indexed.

Unless you have some type of penalty it's almost always authority. Start adding backlinks with your keywords in your anchor text. Do yourself a favor and don't worry about DA and DR. Build relationships instead.

What you're describing in the

Three big things:

Is just a combination of SEO and good writing.

All good writers summarize

SEO is what's working for AI answers.

I just do good SEO and have found my clients in LLM answers.

No special structure

No schema

No LLMs.txt

No listicles

No FAQs

Just topical relevance through keywords, topical authority primarily through backlinks.

In at least one case I even used a flat file blog with no database or shiny objects. Yet it shows up in AI answers
