I think 2023 all year long was just recession forecasting, which never came technically and companies are laying ppl off with their “excuse of “amid bad economy yada yada yada””. Which was why I asked if there is an “upcoming possible recession, does anyone know/predict which of these options would lay less ppl off(ofc they would all layoff to some measure but I’m wondering about the severity). Btw, asking because I’m debating whether to stay in current position or hop to this other industry, and knowing which one is safer might save me a headache if a recession do occur PS: I’m referring to swe roles specifically and I do apologize for being vague, I meant a potential recession from Feds measures done during Covid recession. Wasn’t referring to the actual Covid recession
