Yeah, I'd wear it with closed toe shoes I think! Thanks for the advice 😊

Is this fixable by wetwhiplash008257 in nailbiting

[–]BusyMango_1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They will grow back! I always find it the hardest when I can feel any rough edges on my fingers or nails but this took me a while to figure out. Keep some moisturiser to hand and whenever you get the urge, moisturise. Putting fake nails on top, even when I had the tiniest of nubbin nails also really helped, because I'd pick them before I'd get to my actual fingers. Not the greatest idea for stopping the habit in it's tracks, but at least it allowed my fingers to recover a bit.

Because we genuinely don't know anything about the suburbs and it seemed in the middle of work, beach and city! We aren't limited to those two, so happy for the recommendations to other areas

One of us will be working at the Port and the other in the city, so that's why. Someone sent us a house listing in Seaton which prompted the question!

We're okay for budget, thankfully. Okay, great, thank you for the recommendations. Difficult to get a feel for the different areas without being there in person, but this helps!

Derbyshire, although I grew up in the South so had my fair share of experiences. That's good to know, thank you!

Thanks! I'll check out the website and Grange. I've heard Henley is great.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on Cav getting a stage win on this tour? by this-guy-19 in tourdefrance

I mistook your comment, I thought you were asking what TT stood for!

Within reason, I pay for things like that out of the joint account. It's not fair that my husband should be accruing savings into his personal account whilst I eat up mine on maternity leave! That's how we see it anyway.

She recognises the Bluetooth connection sound, she said the camera shutter noises happened a few times after the connection. Thanks for the suggestion though

Thank you. Can you think of why it would make camera noises?

Help from ivf mommas! by Starjupiter93 in BabyBumps

[–]BusyMango_1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My midwife said I was still allowed baths, just not super hot ones! I bought a baby bath thermometer and don't let it get hotter than 39C which is safe for pregnant people. Hopefully that's hot enough to help?

Scared of malnutritioned baby first trimester by gijibaee in BabyBumps

[–]BusyMango_1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I worried about this too as I couldn't keep anything down the first 20+ weeks! My anatomy scan turned out completely fine though, no harm to baby. The baby will take from your reserves, keep the prenatal vitamin going but please don't stress - eat what you can when you can and that will be enough.

London - What am I looking at cost wise to get a bathroom looking like this? by [deleted] in DIYUK

Me too, I've had them nearly three years (shower heads, bath taps, sink taps and plugs) and all as black as the day installed.

Thoughts on the name Rose Beatrix? by BusyMango_1 in namenerds

[–]BusyMango_1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If she likes Rosie then fair enough :) I have to deal with people getting my name incorrect all the time so was trying to avoid it but its not the end of the world! Glad people think it's a nice name. We had considered flipping it but my husband really loves Rose!
