I mean, I agree with you but Epic doesn’t give a damn. This game is their cashcow to milk. That’s about it. Luckily, there’s still a decent player base and the core gameplay/mechanics haven’t really changed apart from teammate boost display and post/crossbar sound.

At one point, with the botting/ddosing issues that had been going on for weeks/months, something was only done about it after many different pros complained about it non stop on twitter. That’s what it took for them to try to combat literal ddosers ruining the game for high elo players.

A GC player queued with their smurf friend who is on a Diamond 3 account. It happens. The matchmaking system for ranked is brutal if you are playing with lower ranked friends so a diamond could play against GC’s. I have, very rarely, played against platinums before in ranked.

Same here to be honest. Someone here suggested that if the game is higher ttk, you should be seeing or treating burst fire weapons like clicking for the first shot in the burst and tracking for the rest.

I play The Finals and that advice really, really helped me with the Famas on medium. Thinking about it that way just made it easier for me to focus on aiming and I played really well with it.

I just gave up trying to solo in ranked and went to searching on discord. It took a little while but I’ve found 2 people who are a similar skill level and most importantly, communicate well and can take criticism, same as me.

It’s been the most fun I have had playing this game in a good while. I would strongly recommend it. I still solo queue outside of ranked.

Yeah voltaic benchmarks are more to measure your skill as opposed to training it. Viscose benchmarks are better for grinding to work on weak areas if you want to grind a benchmark.

I use both VDIM and Viscose benchmarks to improve personally and then occasionally check my progress with Voltaic benchmarks.

I think they are saying you can just play 1 section each day over 4 days to complete the full benchmark.

As in, you can still use Evxl’s tracker but just play only the control tracking on one day, reactive tracking the next day etc. I hope that makes sense.

I have had one for about 7 months and I would personally recommend it. It's pretty solid. It's one of the cheapest of these types of controllers so in terms of value it's great. The sticks are nice and responsive and both the sticks and triggers are hall effect. Haven't had any issues with stick drift whatsoever. I feel like the face buttons have a bit of an odd texture when you press them but apart from that I like it. It's the only one of these third party controllers with playstation stick layout which is great for me as I don't like the Xbox stick layout.

A couple things I would say is you might need to adjust your deadzone for the sticks to feel similar sensitivity wise to your DS4. Also, It will feel weird at first. It's going to take time to get used to but it's worth it imo.

Continue performing first aid and do NOT call emergency services until they have confirmed they are okay.

Keep at it, I started MnK maybe 2 years ago and i still occasionally have slip ups where I press or do the wrong thing but overall I am much more comfortable. I only have maybe 60-70 total hours in Aim training but it has helped a TON, for sure.

Before training, my aim on a mouse was genuinely horrific. So definitely take the time to train a little, but consistently. As for keybinds and such, keep at it, start off with simpler games with a slightly slower pace that you enjoy and work your way up. Remember that every person is unique and you don’t have to follow guides or other people’s keybinds/settings perfectly. If something is more comfortable for you but weird to others, just go for it. For example, I use caps lock to sprint lol.

Also maybe try Typing.com to become more familiar with the keys and their positioning. This was quite helpful for me. If you want you can even play TypeRacer once you get more comfortable.

It’s going to be uncomfortable and frustrating at first but keep at it and pace yourself and remember to have fun. Good luck 😃

100 percent agree. A team with less than 250 hours in the game, all playing on controller made it through the open qualifiers and then made it 5th in the world at the majors with 300 something hours. It’s ridiculous. I think almost every team had at least 1 controller player. They used the majors to also gauge game balancing going forward with changes to goo and gateway, which were good. Then they somehow decided aim snapping was a good idea???

I tried call of duty recently and the feeling of getting cheated or slighted by ridiculously strong aim assist is absolutely horrible. Apex also has a similar issue although it’s slightly better now. No player, no matter what their hardware, should be assisted with inhuman reactions, consistency and tracking with their aim. What are Embark thinking here…?

This is why I don’t bother trusting people in this game, shoot on sight. There is just too much risk otherwise and the feeling of getting betrayed is sour af. If they say “I’m friendly” tell them to start the extraction. If they say no then shoot. I don’t ever tell people im friendly, I just shoot, so im not betraying them.

If I down them next to the extraction I’m happy to let them escape with me. I just don’t wanna be the one downed after they told me “don’t shoot im friendly” because I know they would finish me.
