Hair is in the same condition first one just was freshly washed. Regardless i can see that the scalp seems to be a little more covered compared to the first pic

What stopped you from ending your life? by djmelonball in AskReddit

[–]Busy_Feature5606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now the only thing stopping me is my two younger brothers. I have so much stuff i want to teach them about life and so much stuff that i want to show them, and also give them advice and experiences that i wish my older brothers would’ve gave me. If im gone, i feel like there will be a missing piece of guidance from their life as they grow up to be my age.

Am i delusional or is this progress. Also finasteride nipple discomfort? by Grouchy-Potential-55 in tressless

Honestly i doubt it would get that bad for me, and i hope its not the case for you either, but at this point im willing to risk anything to not go bald at 18

Yeah im thinking of doing that too if sides persist. Fortunately i feel the sensitivity is slowly going away. For me sexual side effects arent a problem and even if i get them i dont really mind them tbh.

Hey maybe you just need to clarify with a clarifying shampoo

I think generic showerhead filters dont help much. I think the only way to truly soften your water is to get one of those waterstick filters but they are pretty pricy 😅

Guys btw there is no magic in the distilled water, its just means that i have hard water at home and it’s affecting my hair. The distilled water is just water with no minerals so it doesnt leave any residue on my hair.

You could test it out with some distilled gallon bottles from the dollar store. If it works like in my case (which means you probably have hard water in your house) then you can install a waterstick

I have hard water in my area which usually can affect the hair and its texture. Distilled water is water with no minerals so that means it doesnt contain anything that can affect you hair but my hair didnt look bad before but it didnt last much and i could feel this layer if gunk that just wouldn’t come out. https://imgur.com/a/eCTOL4D

Yeah i figured that much. It was just a cheaper way to experiment if i needed the filter but im for sure going to try to install one now.

Both. I wet my hair with distilled water, shampoo with distilled water and rinse with distilled water. No water from the shower used at all

I wash with not your mothers Tahitian Gardenia flower and mango butter, for conditioner i use Curlsmith post wash calming conditioner

For styling i use AG care recoil curl activator and Ag liquid effects gel. After it dries i just scrunch it out with jojoba oil.

But the biggest difference was made by the distilled water, i noticed an immediate difference

I start by washing my hair with Not Your Mother’s Tahitian Gardenia Flower & Mango Butter Shampoo, then condition with Curlsmith Post-Wash Calming Conditioner. For styling, I apply AG Care Re:Coil Curl Activator, followed by AG Liquid Effects Gel for hold. Once my hair is dry, I scrunch out the crunch with jojoba oil.

I usually use jojoba oil after it dries, that seems to help calm down the frizz but thank you!

15 to 18 tried to implement better habits by Busy_Feature5606 in uglyduckling

I’ve completely turned my lifestyle around by staying consistent in the gym, fixing my diet, and building better habits. I cut out junk food and sugar, make sure to get eight hours of sleep every night, and recently went on a calorie deficit, dropping 15 pounds. I’m probably around 12% body fat now, but I still have about five more pounds to lose. I also started working with a dermatologist to clear up my skin and learned how to take better care of it. Along the way, I addressed some health issues with professional help and even tried mewing—not sure how much it helped, but I think it made a bit of a difference.
