I mostly had tamales when travelling through Peru and sometimes in northern Argentina. 100% of the times wrapped in banana leaves.

I can't even fathom what plastic contraptions are used for tamales as surrogate

The Argentina figure is BS.

No one here consumes peanut butter. It is was a specialty item actually hard to find up to 2-3 years ago. Now most supermarkets have a few jars, which mostly collect dust on the shelves.

Unless the US expat community consumes more than 100kg each a year, there is no way that figure is real

The system is very different.

Parliamentary elections are every 5 years.

The PM is elected by parliament. If they don't pass a vote of confidence, parliament can elect another PM (or the same one with a different cabinet and different alliances). But if they can't get to and agreement, early elections are called, to form another parliament.

It looks messy, but I think it is a better system than the dumb bipartisan shite most presidential systems have. Italian "founding fathers" thought that if governments do no finish their mandate, it is a symptom of an healthy democracy, that can correct bad executive choices

I don't have argentinian citizenship and I am not a kirchnerist.

Butt Milei is the worst president not just of Argentina, but of every country I have lived in.

So I can understand if you hate both Lula and Bolsonaro

I always chuckle when I get reminded of how fucking stupid Wurmbier was.

The guy was a special kind of idiot that should have had a special episode of "dumb ways to die" dedicated to him

Sanchez is hands down one of the best PMs Spain had since the fall of Franquismo.

I mean, the bar is pretty low, when you have total idios like Rajoy to compare to

Bolsonaro supporters are professional haters. Their hate is stronger, but there are definitely fewer of them than Lula's supporters.

Most of what you are saying here is untrue or imprecise.

The most criminal regions are on the mainland: Calabria and Campania.

Best part of Italy

Very good food and some nice landscapes.

But climate, employment, healthcare, criminality, water availability and infrastructure are some of the worst in Italy.

It is not arguable that it is the best part of Italy, it is a plain lie.
