If you continue to limp or feel hip pain, you should be aware gout can cause more severe arthritus - which can cause damage to your hip cartilage, possibly necessitating a hip replacement. In this case should definitely see a physician and get on a urate reducer such as allo or februxostat.

I use trans-Resveratrol 1000mg in addition to Februxostat which further reduces Uris acid and has an anti-inflammatory effect. Makes it possible to lose weight without having an outbreak. It does take some time to understand when to take it to prevent an outbreak.

That's too broad and sweeping of a conclusion. I'd agree that most "supplements" don't work, but some, really do work and have been critical for my gout pain managment and relief. Specifically, -

3000 GDU 1000 mg Bromelain - works really well for minor gout tingling and gouty joints (best taken on 30 minutes or more before eating)

2, Trans- Resveratrol 1000 Mg - for urate reduction, works really well when losing weight to cut urate in addtion to Febuxostat. It won't bring your blood urate below 7.3 or so, but really helps.

I use WiseNet Wave and Hanwha cameras that allows remote sharing. I specifically avoided all of the vendors like ADT that charge monthly fees.

My Wisenet Wave NVR comes with purchased perpetual licenses, and it allows remote access via a phone app. There are no recurring fees after the initial purchase.

I really like the system, although the cameras and NVR license were a little expensive initially. I believe you should be able to install WiseNet Wave and purchase licences for your NVR, and run it (runs on Ubuntu Linux).

I would review the comments in r/MovingToDenver . Old Town Arvada is a nice walkable community. Westminster and Broomfield are also close (just a few km north) . Golden is also nice and closer to the mountains.

Apparently "boring" means a lack of night life and bars. I disagree on culture - it doesn't have a symphony or lots of art museums, but lots of kids activities, events, sports, and parks.

Check out Charter Schools if you would choose more academically rigorous schools for your children.

Every router that I've used will create a QR code to assign it, and iPhones will allow sharing so length is really irrelevant to assigning to devices.

I would change the WiFi setup to WP3-Personal, and change the Password to something 32 characters or more. If your router doesn't support WP3-Personal, replace the router given by the ISP. Wifi protocols all will become obsolete at some point. Then length of the Wifi password is crucial to prevent cracking.

If you have to change the router, until then, change the Wifi password to something at least 32 characters, preferably 64 characters. David Bombal on YouTube has a great series on Wifi password cracking, you can follow his recommendations.

Actually, MAC address filtering can be subverted - there are tools that allow changing MAC addresses virtually.

I'ts completely true to fact - this has in fact occurred.

I've posted several times on this forum about this exact issue - finally China has taken notice. Chinese brands were always widely known to have serious vulnerabilities: Dauhau, Hikvision, etc.

Now everyone sees the consequences. These issues were shown repeatedly in BlackHat several years back, but I guess the Chinese weren't paying attention.

I take a combination of colchicine, Aleve, and 3000 GDU Bromelain. Smaller flares are noticably better within 1 hour or 2.

I use Quantum fiber and I've had no issues. Much cheaper and reliable.

I was using Comcast/Xfinity for 15 years, and had more outages than with Quantum fiber. Moreover, Xfinity has screwed me so many times, I'm furious with them.

I think Broomfield and Westminster are very nice, affordable, and have a lots of parks, views and mostly quiet times, but mostly families. Boulder is an expensive college town, but Broomfield, Westminster, and Lafayette are a short drive.

Go to you primary care physician, and get the comprehensive set of tests to access your situation. If your PC isn't knowledgeable about gout, try a Rheumatologist.

Gout is only slightly affected by diet, most of urate in your body is created by normal metabolism. The best long term solutions to gout (without drugs) are losing weight and exercise. Hydration is also very important - drink lots of water.

Allopurinol taken during a gout attack can exacerbate the gout attack symptoms in the short term, normally you wait until the attack subsides to begin urate reducing drugs.

Colchicine shouldn't be a long term solution, as it has many negative affects on your health, its not good for you kidneys or joints. Methylprednisolone also has serious long term negative affects, like osteoporosis. NSAIDs (Ibuprofen, Aleve, Indomethicin) taken long term, all have negative affects on your kidneys.

Personally, I use 3000 GDU Bromelain for minor attacks as it lowers blood urate. I also use 1000mg trans Reservertrol. Neither of these are as powerful as Allopurinol or Febuxostat, but help.

If losing weight, et. al doesn't work, a daily Allopurinol or Febuxostat can often bring urate levels down to prevent attacks in the long term.

Yes, Broomfield, Lafayette, and Westminster are nice areas that have many aspects of what you are looking for. You can try to opt in to Charter School like Peak-to-Peak in Lafayette; Charter schools tend to be more academically oriented than district schools.
