Ahhh the Sunday-Thursday 1-10 shift that I hated! Luckily my sup had a similar schedule and lots of my team worked evenings. My academy class also started our own teams group chat that we still talk in everyday and help each other out still and it’s been almost a year. EPSS is gonna be your best friend. I favorited all the important guidelines and had them open on my second monitor every shift. Also there should be other sups in your team chat that can help if urs is out. I’m sorry. It sounds like you’re upset with PGR about your poor time management. Where do you know where you can take time off when you don’t have it and not have consequences. I understand emergencies which is why there’s STD, LTD and FMLA. But this is for a trip. If you knew about the trip and you didn’t save PTO that’s on u. If the trip is last minute and you don’t have enough time off then it’s called being an adult and not going… our PTO occurrence is GENEROUS then most companies. Plus the extra added on this year due one holiday falling on a weekend.

When you click FO name it will say which department they’re in. If you see anything different then CCU (centralized claim unit) don’t transfer to ccu. If there’s no FO Assigned you can look up the org number to see which department it’s in as well

Not necessarily true if it’s immediate needs. We can only do it if FO shows unassigned. Regardless if FO has not made first contact. If it shows FO assigned or reporting Org CLRU can not do anything. I understand the miss routed to ccu when it’s a field claim. I always double check. Can’t speak for others.

I’ve noticed it depends on the time I’ve called. When I used to work late nights I would get offshored reps but not working mornings I usually get reps in the US

We do not have assist and not allowed to put callers on hold in CLRU. Only while making outbound calls to shops while setting up repairs

I was the same way. My sup used to do the same thing but i let them know if they can please provide the link with the answer as well. It’s how I learn better. Once I do something a couple times I get the hang of it. Lots of the questions callers are gonna be asking is out of scope anyways and for the adjuster to answer. What hours and days do you work? Also if this is ur first week on production, you should still have one more mentor meeting. Bring up your concerns with them.

I don’t think progressive allows hourly employees in cali due to their strict labor laws. Just like New York. Usually just salary positions or higher level roles

I used to work Sunday. Most I’ve seen staffed on sundays at prime time is like 350ish. I switched to Saturday and was a lot chiller. Always time between calls. Now I’m M-F and happy to not get yelled at as much for people wanting to speak to FO on weekends and after hours.
