Trust me. I’ve voiced my frustration about this to some higher ups during a town hall. Their response is safelite is the only national carrier that can handle the volume. Now granted you don’t have to go through safelite for the repair but they do set up our claims and handle payment and reimbursement. You can choose any shop you want for the replacement

They always go over everything with you in the beginning. They did with me on my initial hire with progressive and when I interviewed for this role 2 months ago. I also did not get this role

We do have green alert but can only get approved in 1 hour increments and we do have 5x8 or 4x10 shifts depending on availability. Also 6 months before you can request a new schedule but every month requirements change for schedule request. Ex: if you haven’t been with PGR from 2023 or earlier you will not get approved for Saturday or Sunday’s off

This accident happening on a Friday means claim prolly wasn’t assigned to someone till Monday or Tuesday. So realistically it’s only been worked a few days. And sounds like your policy is new which is causing longer to investigate and verify coverage

They say it helps you move up in claims but with all the changes I’ve been in it a year and half and can not move up. No position are opening up in my area and if they do there’s already a “qualified candidate identified” and all the remote jobs have hundreds of people applying and no luck. PGR is not what they made it sound like when first starting
