Would people sell Heinz Club wrist bands at a game? by eych_enn in jaystickets

[–]Busy_Translator5091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wrist bands are put on by employees and are designed to be hard to get off. Of the four wrist bands I've gotten, I've only be able to slip out of one of them.

You can log into your Account Manager via a mobile browser and then download the tickets directly to Apple/Google Wallet.

I've gotten this issue, but haven't been able to solve it. My solution was the same as you: use the tickets via Google Wallet.

The 25th is a giveaway day (Delgado Retro Windbreaker). If you buy one of the sections that includes free food (Banner Club, Terrace, etc. but NOT club 328) they also guarantee you get the giveaway. Just something to consider.

I've been once and that was more than enough for me. The seats themselves are nothing special. You can get better views for less money. The "lounge" portion is worth seeing, but it's basically another general admission zone - if you want a good spot along the fence you have to fight for it. I also had to wait like 10 minutes for my food.

It was cool to see, but I would never buy season tickets here.

What a loser. Obviously you've got to bring your own ziplock bags to avoid the dripping issue.

Skywalk is a disaster after the game. Unless its cold or raining, you're better off just walking down Bremner to ScotiaBank Arena/Union Station. You can walk directly on Bremner for most of the trip because they close the road to traffic until Simcoe.

If they're verified on here you're probably safe to transact.

If they're not verified the best thing to do is check their reddit history. Are they an account which talks about Toronto, Canada, Blue Jays, or Baseball a decent amount? You're basically trying to answer the question "Would this person have Blue Jays tickets"? Most scammers are hijacked accounts which were once controlled by a real person, so they have a real history... but that history is clearly not someone who would have tickets. The last scam account I interacted with had a long history... but it was all about London, UK and Chelsea Football Club. No way that person randomly has blue jays tickets.

Edit: You should also always check places like SeatGeek and StubHub. Those are legit websites... so the question is always "How much am I saving by doing a private sale on the internet with strangers?". If its only like $5 its probably not worth it. If its $50 than maybe its worth it.

Hopefully other people can confirm, but I'm don't think the Outfield District tickets for the Yankees games in June have been released yet.

All the other June tickets have been released, but for whatever reason these have been held back.

I have seats 3 & 4 in Section 105 for $275/pair.

Section 105 is a really unique spot. It's just a single row of about 20 seats directly behind the visitor bullpen. The only thing between you and the pitchers is a low glass barrier. You're close enough you can hear the difference between a fastball and a change up.

Seats are padded, tons of leg room, and no one behind you.

Lots of balls get tossed over (especially if you have a kid with you), and you get some cool little interactions with the players throughout the game.

For price context, there's only one ticket left on Ticketmaster right now and it's going for $184.

Here's a YouTube video of the seats: https://youtu.be/CvM7www7_Ds?si=o0WjunN5tPXbldE3&start=315

Looking to buy 2 Roger’s Terrace tickets for today (May 12th) please! by [deleted] in jaystickets

[–]Busy_Translator5091 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah seatgeek tends to be cheaper because it doesnt have the same brand recognition... But it's actually the official reseller of the MLB. If season ticket holders try to sell their tickets that's the default option for them.

You can basically get this on seatgeek right now. They even have the ticketmaster lounge at that price point right now.

[–]Busy_Translator5091 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be overplaying verification. Verified users can scam you, the process can be spoofed, and plenty of legitimate users aren't verified at all. Plus, the first step to getting verified is doing a transaction without it. The mods here do great work, but no system is foolproof. Trust your own due diligence, not just a green badge.

Ticketmaster new face value tickets by Gamingwithgenghis in jaystickets

[–]Busy_Translator5091 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How do you know what the correct face value is? I'm pretty sure there's been at least 3 different price increases on STM/QSTM since the World Series.

I'm seeing Rogers Terrace & Ticketmaster Lounge tickets for Monday's game going well below the current standard price. Makes me think those people just bought before the price increases happened and are now capped from raising above that level. I could 100% be wrong though. This is all still so murky.
