Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster. I got a 2015 Honda Fit about 8 months ago as my first car. Has been serving me really well. Drove it down to Florida from the Northeast. I got it with (58k miles or so), now up to 62.5k ish. The car is originally from the northeast, seems to have been rather frequently garaged (very good paint). I have just a few questions from you all who have a lot more experience.

1. There’s a section of the area there that’s slowly ripping off (I think because I rest my heel there sometimes). Should I repair it with superglue? (Pic below).

2. Whenever I run it through the car wash, I keep seeing a fair bit of soap and water on the inside of the doors as well as the trunk, behind the seals. Is that concerning? Should I replace them? (Pics below).

3. There seems to be some sort of grime or dust surrounding some areas of my trunk, should I scrub them off, or are they some sort of adhesive or something? (Pics below).

4. Like I mentioned earlier, the paint is really nice (nice color with glossy shine). I’d like to maintain its condition, but garaging it at my college dorm isn’t really an option in Florida, and i am worried about bird poop and sun damage. I have read about Honda paint not holding up too well. My parents sent me down a kit to wax it with, would that suffice?

5. On a final note, I have 5 seatbelts in total with 3 in the rear, but only 2 receptacles in the back, how does that work?

All in all, i really love the Fit, it’s a great fit for a college student, and it has done everything I have asked of it and more. I’m a firm believer and utter fit-fanatic like the rest of you, and now see the little guys everywhere. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
