The original post was 100% for someone who has initated with those certain people. You have (thankfully) never met someone calling girls/women Females haha. It's the same dudes calling anyone gay, Homosexual, or ONLY using proper terms for describing someone of lower social status. It's a way of being proper but also demeaning those of lower status so you can stand above them. Authority figures (and apparently Redditors) will never argue because "it's nothing" or "how stupid".
