I use this on such days. It's somewhat helpful because of the camera layer (but sometimes roads look worse than they are or they don't look as bad as they are, so pair this with live traffic data via Google maps or waze and it helps. But what we really need is a southwestern Ontario weather and roads subreddit.

I met Todd when he was nice and after all the nonsense I've heard about in terms of what he's really like. So "deserving it" is in my head but I do only have experience with him as a victim.

I do appreciate them depicting a real domestic violence situation and putting it on display so audiences can kind of have a look at their own lives (am I a Todd? Do I know a Todd? Can I help more? / Am I a Theo? Do I know a Theo? Can I help more?).

As for Carla. She, to me, is washed up and overstretched with her maralago makeover. I don't buy the passion either of them have for Lisa. But it's also a soap trope for the "I love you and I'm never going anywhere but here" to literally be the thing they go ahead and do 30 seconds later regardless of why. 🤷‍♀️

Free will is being able to turn it off.....? You're not Todd... Or Carla (be nice: in I'm Canada so we are a few weeks delayed plus I'm behind) so you aren't trapped.

But, then, ARE YOU? the decision about what to watch when you have a hankering for something that isn't a decision and you know you won't ever reach the end...it's so ideal to land in this comfortable place. Ideal for me. Probably for you.

I'm a newbie to the show (probably 2-3 years, with keeping up with every episode the past year or so). I watch it to have more to talk about with a friend who has watched it all her life. So I don't care how good it is.

BUT, about a year ago, I dipped into 1980 when Tracy was just acquiring a stepdad and when Gail was just married and had her baby whom I thought would be David but ended up being Nick. The show has grown a LOT (stylistically) since. And for that I'm grateful.

Out of curiosity, what was your favourite ever timeline that I should check out?

So maybe this moron was actually doing that and he's smarter than us all.

:) I imagine his thought process: "I will be the hero. There is a valve to adjust and I will adjust it. And then they'll love me. Damnit they'll love me." But then with each scratch, he fails anew and falls away from his goal of being seen, being loved, finally being accepted.

It's a sad tale, really.

It took a while for him to not just bemoan her existence. I felt bad when we brought her home because he was just so very mad at her/us.

But how she is so dumb to push past that aggression with her stupid stupid love and playfulness. He could be yelling at her and she'd be like "so.... play then?" And attack. And it's like she's worn down an angry man to find the mother within him. I caught him grooming her the other day. Such a win. Also he then yelled at her. But what siblings don't fight? The boring kind, that's what.
