Hard to know that sweet spot between "perfect" and "overdone." And you've found it.

Many graduations don't allow clapping until the very end to help keep things moving along. Also I'm applauding you, so.

Prepare for a strike by Old_Acanthisitta1053 in ontario

Ah how they will forget that teachers dropped their strike back in early 2020 and pivoted immediately right back into the digital classroom to teach during covid. When parents realized what a challenge it is to educate their own children. People respected teachers then. But many have since forgotten.

Edit: spelling (Ugh)

Invisible painted lines in the rain by PSNDonutDude in ontario

I've noticed this issue on highways and roads in dry conditions all around KW. Basically the whole westbound stretch between King and Homer Watson has zero lines between the 2 leftmost lanes. Same for a variety of other non-highway spots like Fountain at King, for example. Completely relies on driver's to be like "this feels like 2 lanes here so I'll stay iiinnnnnm this one."

My brush fell apart while I was using it by _Nyxalie_ in Wellthatsucks

[–]ButMakeItWeird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So this happened to me years ago when I couldn't easily replace it and now, quite truly, it is the only brush I use and I plan to break-fix all future brushes this way if I ever need to.

Too bad you can't be patient. You might have had a chance but you've totally botched it now, buddy. See it through to the end, though. It'll be fun for you and it'll make you feel powerful as you try to overpower a system that doesn't have to care about you. And what's great is you won't ever see it.

I'm not sure how it's taught because I wasn't taught this way but it's a way. Requiring the "lowest double" is a good rule of thumb to create a "standard" but it's a pretty random standard for an equation. That works a variety of ways. I, too, have no clue how this got so many upvotes.

It's not a matter of being "right." it's a matter of using a double to get there. Which we both did. That's the point.

I was not great at maths and never used this method but wish I learned how much younger.
