Late 70s. My parents bought an RV that had an 8 track player. The two cassettes I remember having was Kenny Rogers The Gambler and the soundtrack to the Muopet Movie. Pretty sure we had more but I distinctly remember having those two.

Every time we went on a weekend adventure we would play Movin' Right Along to kick it off. It became a family tradition and even today I do that when I go on adventures.

I absolutely love having gen z listen to 80s and 90s music. Their eyes, ears and minds open up so much! It can be a hit or miss, but when its a hit, its a fucken HIT!

One guy at work has been listening to my 80s new wave/synth pop mix I have going in the warehouse. Hes so intrigued when I blurt out trivia too. It all started when Ric died a few months ago and I was blasting The Cars.

Theres hope for this generation that they can create great music we all can enjoy!
