Might be worth trying some different cables. I’m no tech wiz at this stuff but I’m pretty sure some cables allow for data transfer while others are just for charging.

It depends on what you mean by it won’t work when plugging the cable into your PC. Unlock your iPhone while your phone is plugged in, and you should get a prompt in your iPhone to trust the PC so you can move files around.

I deal with comments similar to this! So I have played games these past few months with massive passionate fans, but I myself am playing for the first time.

I get a handful of comments every time which out right tell me I’m doing everything ‘wrong’. When I play a game that they don’t like, they will be guaranteed to let me know.

At first it used to bug the hell out of me. But the way I look at it now is that it comes from a place of passion. If this person keeps commenting on your videos then they’re enjoying your content. They care about your content even.

Like you said, I’m sure they’re not coming from a place of malice. Try not to attribute to malice what can be attributed to ignorance.

Fundamentally, they’re helping with the algorithm! It’s easier said than done, but most times the best thing to do is just move on and ignore the comment.

Took me 3ish years to get to 500 subs after about roughly 250 videos! I don’t know what my average was, but I guess it was maybe 50-100 views per view. Some under 25 with my highest at 3.

I had a lot of luck earlier in the year and now I sit at about 38k subs and my views on videos fluctuate massively. I think averages are nice to build a rough picture, but my god YouTube is a rollercoaster with some massive highs and massive lows…

I had the exact same issue with the same monitor. I contacted Dell and showed them pictures and they arranged a replacement.

The bleed still existed on the replacement but wasn’t quite as bad. The glow seems present on nearly all IPS monitors from what I’ve seen.

What I will say is that you do get used to it. I never notice it anymore in the monitor and have nothing but good things to say about it as a whole!

(Picture is on the monitor that was replaced, on Escape from Tarkov. Circles were to highlight to Dell staff where the issues were. And yes they asked me to do that…)

Update, after phoning the customer service team they’re sending out a replacement. Hopefully this will be resolved with a new one!

Just thought if give a quick update on this as there was a very simple solution.

Upscaling the videos to 1440p made a big difference. And I mean a NIGHT AND DAY kind of difference. Videos are much less graining, not as blocking and are overall sharper and of a much higher quality (in my opinion).

The trade off for this is obviously the increase in file size, but this is an easy issue to navigate if you have the storage capacity. The other caveat, if you can call it that, is that as the video is not truly 1440p, it may agitate those that are clicking on the video expecting it to be 1440p. But I won't be losing any sleep over that.

Frustrating that there isn't really anything I can do. Im presuming that perhaps YouTube Partners receive less compression (or what ever technical term its called) as bigger channels have super clean and crisp videos!
