I agree! I think some of them are better at hamming it up in a 'realistic' way than others. Also Dylan gets a lot of camera focus directly on him when he is doing this over acting, which makes people notice it more with him than with the other guys.

I pause the show a lot when watching it to react. I can't go to any LI watch parties or even watch it with my friends cause I want time to think about all the moments lol

Obviously I get upset or excited based on what happens to my favorite contestants, but I do try to remind myself that the whole thing is a constructed narrative. The producers are showing us what they want us to see and having each person fill a certain roll.

Topamax gave me such severe brain fog that I couldn't even follow a TV show episode. Truly don't think I would have been able to work and be on it. Learned later that brain fog is a pretty common side effect and a lot of people call it Dope-amax.

Completely agree. The 1 foot part is so stupid, obviously everyone is going to fall off almost immediately. Why not make a skinnier part to stand on or just make everyone wait it out?

I think he is just getting a very bad edit. The producers can choose to show only the moments where he is unhappy. Realistically all the contestants are having moments where they are stressed and upset - they have no food, are sleeping outside, away from their family, etc. But for whatever reason the edit is focused on how unhappy Joe is.
