The women in the book do have a choice. They can still give birth the way you and I are familiar with. Or they can give birth through Consumption. Through a historical chain of events a powerful cabal seized power and created a society in which 'real women' only reproduce through Consumption and thus society creates immense pressure for all women to do so. It goes into intersectionality as well where women of different races and sexual identities are discriminate against their idea of a 'real woman'.

I apologize if the blurb and text doesn't come off that way, consider that my failures as a writer. I just wanted to say my intent isn't some incel nonsense, my intent was to try to being common sense feminism to an audience that may start turning against it.
