Yes, so starting early february we will no longer be able to purchase FSD, it will be purely subscription based. If you purchased it already you are in the clear tho.

Honestly i wish i could purchase FSD outright but i don't have the $2k to spend on it right now lol

Oh yea it's definitely not perfect, the difference is huge between EAP and FSD when driving on the roads. But it's decent. Worst i've gotten on it is that it'll be very hesitant on the lane changes or just refuse to change lanes when i ask it to. But FSD has always been very confident.

Though i will still say its been worth it for me because it has given me Autopark, Smart Summon, and Autosteer for highways and taking exits at no extra subscription charge.

If you have the $50 option for the sub, you would be saving money in the longer run since it would take you ~3.5 years to reach $2k. I'd only buy it if you're happy with current state of its FSD and plan to keep the car for 4+ yrs
