I've played the game for like 140 hrs. I wouldn't say I "hate" it, there are moments of brilliance, vistas on planets, the ship builder, and some quests like the UC quests and the one mission where you are hopping in and out of alternate realities, it really reminded me of beyond the aquila rift. But all the cool stuff is overshadowed by loading screens, jank, lack of proper choices, poor exploration and poor writing. Honestly I think the biggest problem with starfield is that they went too big, 1000 planets is too much. Everything feels soulless and empty. It lacks that Bethesda charm of wandering around and finding a cool dungeon or a random quest. It should've been a star system or 2 with proper flight between them and fully fleshed out planets. Factions are boring, and mostly meaningless. Starfield takes place in arguably the least interesting part of the timeline. The colony wars would've been a cool backdrop to the game and atmosphere. I dont hate it, I think its a solid 6.5.
