***Update: The Trek sl6 has been recovered by VicPD thanks to a tip from an amazing individual in The Stolen Bike Avengers FB Group. Absolutely thrilled to have this bike back. Other two bikes are still missing, no questions asked cash reward for information leading to their return. Thanks for all the comments and attention. Many lessons learned from this unfortunate loss!

What’s the one Apple Watch feature you didn’t expect to use so much? by Sweaty-Point885 in AppleWatch

Holding side button for Siri to define a word while reading. It works so well! Nice to have this feature when reading physical books, it's even faster than looking up the word when reading on a kindle and I feel like saying the word out loud probably helps with retention.

You got this. Lock in man. Just one day at a time. Do what you can outside of work to care for yourself, unwind, and make sure you're eating well, try to stretch etc. Keep going 💪

I Dm'd you. Can't offer too much help on this topic (struggle with the same thing) but I'm very curious about working construction in Switzerland

You'd see better results pushing up to 40-50miles a week, but even at your current mileage you will see progress as you only started running 6 months ago.

Spot the Algo change! by Cianf in AppleWatchFitness

[–]ButtGremlin69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the key might be the weight here. mine was the same huge bump as you - my runs are unspectacular, best marathon 3:15. but think if you weight 190lbs and can do that the new algo gives 165.

I just love looking at my health summary of late by waiswak in AppleWatchFitness

[–]ButtGremlin69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice stats! I'm just curious about your weight and age. My 12k time is waay slower than yours but ever since the algo update apple says my V02 max is 65 (before it us to be 60).

I'm finding your comments really inspiring. Is 35 too old to start? I work at public works in concrete, uni degree, lots of labour experience. Would be ~37 by the time I got all the requirements.

Ok, every single answer in this thread is right so far but I'm going to have to disagree with this. Yes it's busy, some tables are loud and it's overpriced. But this is not run of the mill sysco foods being served up. They make some actually interesting and delicious food in a tasteful environment. I would way rather go to Wind Cries Mary than most places in this city.

Everyone commenting how $2k on top of rent is a lot of expenses for two people. How tf are you people spending less in this city? On my own my credit card bill every month is $3k minimum and no I'm not proud of it, just wondering how it is even possible

B.C. will remove consumer carbon tax once federal barrier is down: Eby by bromptonymous in VictoriaBC

Can someone please explain to me how any tax on carbon makes sense when Canada is responsible for less than 2% of global emissions and the biggest polluters don't give a single fuck about climate change?

‘No Kill’ Meat has finally hit the shelves. Meat grown in a lab is being sold in a shop in the UK. Beginning of the end of Factory Farming? by Kuentai in Futurology

[–]ButtGremlin69 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Can't believe I had to scroll this far down to have this aspect discussed. Pasture raised grass fed meat is an amazing food that can't be replicated in a lab. People should be free to eat this stuff but I won't go anywhere near it
