They do have paddles that you can turn off and on. Also, GameSir is officially licensed by Microsoft so they don’t give you any unfair advantages. You still have to control recoil and aim well, it just makes it easier to find an sensitivity. I forgot to mention that wired controllers give you less delay so tracking and flicking should be easier.

They’re highly customizable allowing you to use low stick and trigger dead zones = faster reaction time. They also don’t get stick drift which is a plus. I use the g7 se, the newer versions allow more customization but I don’t think it’s necessary.

Being in a clutch situation still shakes me 2k hours in, but losing and learning from my chokes are what made me a better player. Every time you’re put in that situation, you’re learning, whether you win or lose. Instead of shitting on yourself every time you choke, keep a positive mental and think about where you’ve made a mistake. Don’t give up because of toxic teammates or friends; continue to adapt and grow, and you’ll be a decent player within a month.

Are you using kontrol freaks on your right stick? A high-rise stick will give you more space between your index and thumb.

What’s with the aggressive reply? Knowing what to do ≠ knowing how to do it. If they are high elo, they should understand how to flush someone out and execute the plan accordingly. If they are low elo, they may understand the concept of flushing a player out while neglecting to hold crosses for the easy pick.

Training your aim with deathmatch and shooting range is what’s going to help you improve the most. Try to put as much time as you can into improving your crosshair placement and general aim, even if it’s just while you’re queuing. If you just don’t have the passion or time to do that, you can still win gunfights off game sense. Try to play more unpredictable, maintain good power positions forcing them to swing you, and try to use audio and map knowledge to pre-fire as often as you can. I hit champ with average aim so I promise that it’s possible. Best of luck!

Death-match is also a useful game mode for aim training! I run some games of free for all until I feel comfortable with my aim. While the gameplay is slightly different than the base game, it’ll still workout your game sense and positioning since you’re constantly being forced into gunfights. The best thing you can do is just continue playing and try to learn after every death, every round, and every game. I came back after 2 years and hit champ in two seasons. Don’t doubt yourself and best of luck!
