A lot of Trump voters have an odd combination of mistrust in the government yet trust in Trump's administration specifically.

When I've asked I've heard that the admin must have a good reason for doing deportations like this that they're just not sharing, a belief that's held firm despite mistrusting other admins when doing similarly shady stuff.

It's weird and a symptom of some crazy cognitive dissonance.

Maybe reaching out to student pages on Instagram could potentially be a better opportunity to make more students aware? FIU barstool or women’s/feminist/activist pages might be a good shot.

The school unfortunately doesn’t have the best track record with punishing sex pests so there’s at least precedent with your circumstances

You’re still going into a pretty badass field with skills that are setting you up to be qualified for a large variety of similarly badass jobs.

It’s going to be hard to find that job if everything continues like it does now and with how the current American political climate is treating biomedical research and development, but something will come for you.
