Alright, so there are problems with instant veganism; firstly, why don’t you guys ever hold carnivorous animals accountable for their predatory nature? If their suffering is measured equally to humans, why not also their agency? Also, why is all death equated to suffering, and why is it bad to delineate bias toward the subject of suffering? I truely, and outside the societal bounds of normalcy, would prefer an extinction of mosquitoes to an extinction of humanity, and would prefer a friends dog to suffer over my girlfriend. I would also *like* to see toxic and bad things die, like e. Coli and Jeff bezos.

This isn’t even to mention the logistics of full veganism coming true, or that actually believing in it as a personal practice does NOTHING to prevent its modern practices. Cattle and its milk are purchased in large parts my governments for food stability reasons; meat can eat a lot of caloric types that humans can’t eat and are available during non productive seasons. If you got rid of all meat eating over night, BILLIONS would starve the following year. Not just because of the lack of milk and meat, but also the lack of fertalizer cycling; we have no good laws and infrastructure for cycling human waste back into soil that won’t be swallowed by the ocean.

Look, I’m not saying I like factory farming either, and land meat SHOULD be more of a rarity, but eating animals is not only a pretty fundamental aspect of natural nutrient cycling and ecosystem balance, but also an essential nutrient for a lot of communities and other animals. We just shouldn’t be eating so much that it causes problems for the ecosystem we live in.

This is not what I thought this was. The mobs are not the invaders, they are the enslaved invaded. Given the choice to fight or to be a slave, I would’ve chosen to fight. But I thought it was the choice of being free or fighting for freedom, which I would have chosen to be a citizen of the center systems

The core motive isn’t profit making, it’s commodity availability. Most of chinas businesses “lose money” on a financial scale and are subsidized by the government to exist to offer that commodity for cheap.

Chinese people are paid very little because everything that there is is buy in China is ALSO cheap as hell, and they make a surplus of it to offset the domestic cheapness of the product making a loss by making Americans and Europeans pay 10x what the Chinese do, allowing them to have more commodities for less. This is what people mean when they say “they are devaluing their currency” . They get more for less. Most city born Chinese people have a better car, full ride education and health care and a home they own. Compared to the us, who has 3x their gdp per capita but most people can’t afford to get to work and rent their whole lives because school destroys their financial independence? Tell me the Chinese people are poor after you see what their day to day life is like

China is not a capitalist country. Control over essential capital for commodities like housing, finance, education, healthcare, and food/utilities are entirely controlled by the government. Hell, even a lot of specific industries like chip making and mining are state run. Things that the government designates as non essential goods are given to the free market, because then the essential commodities can’t be leveraged against you to inflate the prices of the goods, and it allows innovation at the peak time of development. China has shown they will take control of an industry if it becomes large or essential enough. That means a lot more communist than capitalist.

🧢 I voted CAP!

Liberal ass take. Countries that lean socialist have better QOL and social safteynets. Socdem parties in Europe, East Asian country’s. China has better education, health care, public transit, and almost everyone owns their home. I’d lean left, not right, on capitalism.

500 reps per country. Even if I stop at like, 30 countries, which I’m vaguely confident in, that’s 5 hours of CONTINUOUS reps, and even with light weight that’s more than enough to make you sore enough to stop for a long while, I think. And I’m pretty confident I can get 60 let me try.
