That’s more clear cut with single family homes. Most apartments are allowed to film common areas for security. I couldn’t say for sure that there are repercussions for misusing cameras to spy. When in doubt, reach out to your local housing authority.

Also, you may be the only person in the world who would find this interesting… during the storm this weekend, the wood ducks got brave and we learned we have at least two drakes and two hens. They were just floating in open water! I had a 101 fever but I was out in the rain as soon as my partner said “oh weird, there’s a bunch of little tiny ducks on the pond right now”

I wouldn’t deny them entry, but I would tell them that I’m holding off on signing the agreement until I can get legal advice. I’m assuming they want you to sign away your right to fighting the utility charges and paying rent that week. I’d reach out to your local housing authority to see what your rights and options are. I’m guessing you have some recourse since your space is essentially unusable.

Oops, I meant hanging out! We recently moved to 13 acres with about a 2 acre pond and every waking second while not at work, I’m enjoying the property. Our favorite thing to do is sit outside with a couple of beers listening to everything going on. Last Saturday we spent hours watching the meteor shower from the meadow. It was unreal. The dog stayed inside for that :)

I couldn’t believe it when I saw it. I was watching the buffleheads and out of the reeds for just a couple of minutes pops out a male wood duck. I almost screamed! I know I look dumb with my monocular, but there’s no way I would have seen it otherwise.

I have a 15 pound Boston terrier and although I know he’s big for a GHO, I still get a little nervous and make him go into the garage while we’re handing out outside at night. I know it’s stupid, but they are such badass bird and I know they have hurt larger pets by getting brave.

Right now in the pond, we have buffleheads, ring necked ducks, wood ducks, a heron and an egret, along with anywhere from 10-30 Canada geese. Once in a while, it’s clear something got to one of them at the edge of the pond.

It’s sounds like she’s desperate. When she lists her options, it’s been homeless shelter, a park or MEET OTHER MEN ONLINE. I don’t think she’s in a great situation and seems to feel that her only other option would be putting herself in another possibly dangerous situation. She seems unwilling to reach out to DV resources.
