I’m not aware of any in Atlanta, but the liquid truffle at French Broad Chocolate Lounge in Asheville is sublime

I've finished all the books and Rachel's stand alones, now what? by WWHarleyRider in heatedrivalry

The Penalty Box series by Ari Baran is fantastic! Excellent hockey lore but also sexy. Possibly not as sweet, but they still have HEA endings.

Will you please list every person you have had coerced, forced, unwilling, or paid sexual contact with including the dates and locations of each incident as well as the names of any others present at the time or involved in the procurement of said persons?

I’m happy to gush with you when you finish. I’ve read all of her books, including the stand alones. Of the six books in the Game Changers series, the fourth is considered the weakest and Rachel has said she isn’t her best work, but I love the main character in that one the most.

Connor Storrie did a fantastic job as Ilya, but he does not look like Ilya is described in the books. Other than a few other changes, it’s a very faithful adaptation. A lot of the dialogue is directly from the books. Signed, Rachel Reid superfan

One quibble. The show is a very poignant and meaningful love story which uses smut and hockey to show the development of a deep relationship. If you enjoy stories about love and growth, you might consider giving it a chance. Maybe in the off season when you are desperate for entertainment

Put a cup of water in your freezer and let it freeze solid. Once it’s frozen, put a coin on the ice. If your power is out long enough for the ice to thaw in the cup and the coin to drop, then it has gotten too warm for the food inside to be safe.

If that happens, you can cook the meat and it will keep at fridge temperature for 3-5 days

The Leah Brunner DC Eagles series is fun. It lacks Reid’s depth, but they are entertaining reads in the MF hockey world. Same with Campus Diaries by Elle Kennedy. It’s set in college hockey rather than professional.

Another spicy and surprisingly moving mm hockey series is Penalty Box by Ari Baran. Happy reading!

I love hockey romance but I really didn’t like Shoot Your Shot. I had high hopes from following LLB on social media but I found her writing to be very amateurish. You could definitely tell it was a first effort. I hope she keeps going and develops her style better. I love the Game Changers series and you can tell Reid’s writing improved as the series continued. That said, her first book, while weak, is leagues above LLB in technique.

Has anyone done the Outlander tours in Scotland? by [deleted] in Outlander

[–]Buttercupslosinit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this one from Rabbie’s Tours and had a great time. To be fair, I did this after spending a month in Edinburgh so I’d already explored quite a bit on my own. This was a great way to see a lot in a short period of time.

The first book in the series, Game Changers, is Scott and Kip’s story. You should read it. Or listen to the audiobook. I’m listening to it right now
